AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX är en processor för stora bärbara datorer (för spel) baserad på Cezanne-generationen. R9 5900H integrerar alla åtta kärnor baserade på Zen 3-mikroarkitekturen. De är klockade på 3,3 (garanterad basklocka) till 4,6 GHz (Turbo) och stöder SMT för totalt 16 trådar. Chippet tillverkas i den moderna 7 nm TSMC-processen. "X" i namnet indikerar överklockningsmöjligheterna för CPU:n.
Den nya Zen 3-mikroarkitekturen erbjuder en betydligt högre IPC (instruktioner per klocka) jämfört med Zen 2. För stationära processorer hävdar AMD 19 procent i genomsnitt och i applikationsgranskningar visade sig cirka 12 procent vinster vid samma klockfrekvens.
Med den ökade klockfrekvensen och IPC-förbättringarna tack vare Zen 3 bör Ryzen 9 5900HX vara klart snabbare än den lägre klockade Ryzen 9 4900H.
Förutom de åtta CPU-kärnorna integrerar APU:n även ett integrerat grafikkort Radeon RX Vega 8 med 8 CU:er och upp till 2100 MHz. Minneskontrollen med dubbla kanaler stöder DDR4-3200 och energieffektiva LPDDR4-4266 RAM-minnen. Dessutom finns 16 MB nivå 3-cache på chipet.
APU:ns TDP är specificerad till 45 Watt (standard) och kan konfigureras från 35 till 54 Watt av bärbara datorleverantören.
