Intel Core i5-10300H
Intel Core i5-10300H är en snabb processor för bärbara datorer som har fyra kärnor och är baserad på Comet Lake H-serien (4:e generationen av Skylake-arkitekturen). Processorn har en klockfrekvens på mellan 2.5 och 4.5 GHz (upp till 4.2 GHz med 4 kärnor) och kan köra upp till åtta trådar samtidigt tack vare HyperThreading. Enligt Intel tillverkas processorn i en 14nm (14nm++) process. Jämfört med föregångaren, Core i5-9300H från 2019, har 10300H en aningen högre klockfrekvens (+100 MHz bas, +400 MHz Boost).
Comet Lake-arkitekturen påminner om Coffee Lake och har samma funktioner och tillverkas i samma 14nm-process. Utöver förbättrade klockfrekvenser har minneskontrollenheten nu stöd för snabbare DDR4-2933 RAM. Mer information om Comet Lake och alla dess modeller samt tillhörande artiklar går att hitta här.
Core i5-10300H saknar stöd för vPro, TXT eller SIPP. Dessa kontorsfunktioner finns på den snabbare (och nyare) Core i5-10400H (2.6 - 4.6 GHz).
En välkyld Intel Core i5-10300H kan nå samma genomsnittliga prestanda som den äldre Core i7-8750H (6 kärnor men lägre klockfrekvens). Multitrådade tester som kan använda alla kärnorna är däremot märkbart långsammare. Jämfört med äldre Core i5-9300H är 10300H betydligt snabbare tack vare att CPU-kärnorna har högre klockfrekvens. Generellt sett lämpar sig denna processor väl för multi-tasking och krävande arbete. Riktigt snabba mobila grafikkort kommer däremot vara begränsade av Core i5-10300H.
En integrerad Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU är tänkt att ge samma prestanda som en UHD630 från Core i5-9300H. I egenskap av instegslösning kommer den troligen bara kunna köra aktuella spel smidigt med reducerade detaljer - om den kan det överhuvudtaget.
Intel har angett ett TDP-värde på 45 Watt och därför passar det här i5-chippet bara i stora laptops med bra kyllösningar. Med hjälp av cTDP-down kan processorn också konfigureras till 35 Watt, vilket resulterar i lägre prestanda.
