Intel Core 5 220H

Intel Core 5 220H är en mellanklass mobil CPU för bärbara datorer i Raptor Lake-H refresh-serien (Alder Lake-arkitekturen). Den tillkännagavs i slutet av 2024 och erbjuder 4 av de 6 möjliga prestandakärnorna (P-kärnor, Golden Cove-arkitektur) och alla 8 effektiva kärnor (E-kärnor, Gracemont-arkitektur). P-kärnorna har stöd för Hyper-Threading för 16 trådar i kombination med E-kärnorna. Klockfrekvenserna sträcker sig från 2,7 till 4,9 GHz (single core boost, all core upp till 4,7 GHz) på prestandaklustret och 2 till 3,7 GHz på det effektiva klustret. Prestandan hos E-kärnorna bör vara liknande gamla Skylake-kärnor (jämförbara med Core i7-6700HQ). Alla kärnor kan använda upp till 18 MB L3-cache.

Jämfört med den liknande men äldre Core i5-13600Här Core 5 220H en något högre klockad version.

Prestanda

Tack vare de högre klockhastigheterna kan Core 5 220H överträffa den gamla Core i5-13600H (t.ex. + 100 MHz boost).

Funktioner

Den integrerade minnesstyrenheten stöder olika minnestyper upp till DDR5-5200. Thread Director (i hårdvaran) kan hjälpa operativsystemet att bestämma vilken tråd som ska användas på de prestandastarka eller effektiva kärnorna för bästa prestanda. För AI-uppgifter integrerar processorn även GNA 3.0 och DL Boost (via AVX2). Quick Sync i version 8 är samma som i Rocket Lake-processorerna och stöder MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1-dekodning, JPEG, VP8-dekodning, VP9, HEVC och AV1-dekodning i hårdvara. Processorn har nu stöd för PCIe 5.0 x8 för en GPU och två PCIe 4.0 x4 för SSD-enheter. Det integrerade grafikkortet är baserat på Xe-arkitekturen och erbjuder 80 av 96 möjliga EUs (Exekveringsenheter) som är möjliga.

Processorn är klassad till 45 W baseffekt (115 W PL2) men de flesta bärbara datorer använder en PL1 på cirka 60 Watt. SoC:en tillverkas i en förbättrad 10nm-process hos Intel, som kallas Intel 7.
