SoC integrerar sex av de åtta kärnorna baserade på Zen 3-mikroarkitekturen som är klockade till 2,3 (garanterad basklocka) till 4,3 GHz (Turbo) och stöder SMT för totalt 12 trådar. Chipet är tillverkat i den äldre 7 nm TSMC-processen.
Utöver de sex CPU-kärnorna har APU:n även ett integrerat Radeon RX Vega 7-grafikkort (nu bara kallat Radeon Graphics) med 7 CU:er på upp till 1800 MHz. Den dubbelkanaliga minneskontrollen stöder DDR4-3200 och energieffektiva LPDDR4-4266 RAM. Dessutom finns 16 MB nivå 3-cache (upp från 8 MB på 4800U) på chipet.
Din körsträcka kan variera beroende på hur höga CPU-effektgränserna är och hur kompetent kyllösningen i ditt system är.
Denna Ryzen har en standard TDP på 15 W (även känd som Power Limit 1). Vilket är lite för högt för att möjliggöra passivt kylda konstruktioner.
