Intel Core i5-12450H
Intel Core i5-12450H är en avancerad mobil CPU för bärbara datorer baserad på Alder Lake-arkitekturen. Den tillkännagavs i början av 2022 och har 4 av de 6 prestandakärnorna (P-kärnor, Golden Cove-arkitektur) och 4 av de 8 effektiva kärnorna (E-kärnor, Gracemont-arkitektur), vilket ger totalt 8 kärnor (octa core CPU). P-kärnorna stöder Hyper-Threading, vilket ger 12 trådar när de kombineras med E-kärnorna. Klockfrekvensen varierar från 2 till 4,4 GHz i prestandaklustret och från 1,5 till 3,3 GHz i det effektiva klustret. Prestandan hos E-cores bör likna den hos gamla Skylake-kärnor (jämför med Core i7-6700HQ ). Alla kärnor kan använda upp till 12 MB L3-cache. Jämfört med 12500H har 12450H färre E-kärnor, lägre klockfrekvenser, en långsammare iGPU och inget vPro-stöd.
Prestanda
Den genomsnittliga 12450H i vår omfattande databas är lite av en besvikelse, dess multi-thread benchmark-resultat matchar bara precis de hos Ryzen 7 5700U och Core i7-10750H båda ganska gamla processorer från Q2 2023.
Din upplevelse kan variera beroende på hur höga effektgränserna för processorn är och hur kompetent kylningslösningen för ditt system är.
Funktioner
Den integrerade minneskontrollern stöder olika minnestyper upp till DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 och LPDDR4x-4267. Thread Director (i hårdvaran) kan hjälpa operativsystemet att bestämma vilken tråd som ska användas på prestandakärnorna eller de effektiva kärnorna för bästa prestanda. För AI-uppgifter integrerar processorn även GNA 3.0 och DL Boost (via AVX2). Quick Sync i version 8 är samma som i Rocket Lake-processorerna och stöder MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1-avkodning, JPEG, VP8-avkodning, VP9, HEVC och AV1-avkodning i hårdvara. CPU:n stöder endast PCIe 4.0 (x8 för en GPU och två x4 för SSD-enheter).
Det integrerade grafikkortet är baserat på Xe-arkitekturen och erbjuder 48 av de 96 EUs (Execution Units) som arbetar med upp till 1,2 GHz.
CPU:n är klassad för 45 W baseffekt (95 W PL2) men de flesta bärbara datorer använder en PL1 på cirka 60 Watt. SoC:n tillverkas i en 10nm-process hos Intel, som är känd som Intel 7.
