Intel i9-10885H

Intel Core i9-10885H är en högklassig processor för bärbara datorer med åtta kärnor som bygger på Comet Lake-arkitekturen (CML-H, fjärde generationen av Skylake). Processorn klockar på mellan 2,4 och 5,3 GHz och kan exekvera upp till sexton trådar samtidigt tack vare Hyper-Threading. Processorn tillverkas fortfarande i den gamla 14nm-processen (14nm++).

Comet Lake-arkitekturen liknar Coffee Lake och erbjuder samma funktioner och tillverkas i samma 14nm-process. Förutom de förbättrade klockfrekvenserna stöder minneskontrollern nu även snabbare DDR4-2933 RAM-minne. Mer information om Comet Lake och alla modeller och artiklar om den finns här.

Core i9-10855H stöder hanteringsfunktionerna vPro, TXT och SIPP. 

Prestanda

Prestandan hos Core i9-10885H bör ligga något över den äldre toppmodellen Core i9-9980HK, tack vare den potentiellt högre turbon för en enda kärna. Tack vare de 8 kärnorna och de höga Turbohastigheterna bör även krävande applikationer kunna köras mycket bra på CPU:n. Den långsiktiga prestandan är dock alltid beroende av den bärbara datorns kylsystem och systemkonfiguration. Vid tidpunkten för tillkännagivandet är i9-10885H den näst snabbaste Comet Lake-H CPU:n efter Core i9-10980HK.

Grafik

Den integrerade Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU:n är tänkt att erbjuda en liknande prestanda som UHD630 i Core i7-9880H. Som en lösning i lågprissegmentet kommer den endast att köra aktuella spel smidigt med reducerade detaljer - om alls.

Strömförbrukning

Intel anger TDP med 45 watt och därför lämpar sig i9 endast för stora bärbara datorer med bra kylningslösningar. Med hjälp av cTDP-down kan processorn också konfigureras till 35 watt vilket resulterar i en minskad prestanda.
