Intel i9-11950H

Intel Core i9-11950H är en högklassig octa core SoC för bärbara datorer och mobila arbetsstationer. Den är baserad på Tiger Lake H45-generationen och tillkännagavs i mitten av 2021. Den integrerar åtta Willow Cove-processorkärnor (16 trådar tack vare HyperThreading). Basklockfrekvensen beror på TDP-inställningen och vid 45 Watt ligger den på 2,6 GHz. Boosthastigheten för en enda kärna kan nå upp till 5 GHz (ITBM 3.0, även två kärnor), alla kärnor kan nå upp till 4,5 GHz. Processorn erbjuder 24 MB nivå 3-cache och stöder DDR4-3200-minne. Jämfört med i9-11980HK erbjuder 11950H professionella hanteringsfunktioner som Intel vPro, SIPP eller TXT.

Tack vare den nya Tiger Lake-arkitekturen bör i9-11980HK vara betydligt snabbare än den gamla Intel Core i9-10980HK (Comet Lake-H, 2,4 - 5,3 GHz, 16 MB L3) i enkel- och flertrådig prestanda och liknar Ryzen 9 5980HX (Zen 3, 3,3 - 4,8 GHz, 16 MB L3). Därför bör i9 vara en av de snabbaste processorerna för bärbara datorer år 2021 och väl lämpad även för mycket krävande uppgifter.

SoC:n innehöll också det förbättrade Xe-grafikkortet som kallas UHD-grafik med alla 32 EU:er.

Dessutom lägger Tiger Lake SoC:er till PCIe 4-stöd (20 körfält i H45-serien), AI-hårdvaruacceleration och delvis integrering av Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 och Wi-Fi 6E i chipet.

Chippet tillverkas i den förbättrade 10nm-processen (kallad 10nm SuperFin) hos Intel, som ska vara jämförbar med 7nm-processen hos TSMC (t.ex. Ryzen 4000-serien). Standard-TDP är beräknad till 45 W, vid 65 Watt ökar basklockfrekvensen till 3,3 GHz (cTDP uppåt).
