AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS
AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS är en mobil SoC för större bärbara datorer baserad på Renoir-arkitekturen. 4900HS innehåller alla åtta kärnorna och är baserad på mikroarkitekturen Zen 2. De har en klockfrekvens på 3 GHz (garanterad basklockfrekvens) till 4.3 GHz (Turbo) och har stöd för SMT / Hyperthreading (16 trådar). Chippet tillverkas i en modern 7 nm-process hos TSMC, och till stor del på grund av det gör AMD reklam för att Renoir-chippen har dubbelt så hög prestanda per Watt.
Enligt vår information är Ryzen 9 4900HS bara en aning snabbare än Ryzen 7 4800HS. CPU:n har en klockfrekvens som är 100 MHz högre (bas och boost), men ökningen i prestanda beror till stor del på kylningen och TDP-inställning. Chippet borde vara jämförbart med Intels i9-9980HK. Det innebär att Ryzen 9 4900HS borde klara av alla krävande uppgifter och spel. Jämfört med 45 W-versionen Ryzen 9 4900H har 4900HS 100 MHz högre boost- och 300 MHz högre basklockfrekvens.
Utöver de åtta CPU-kärnorna har denna APU också ett integrerat Radeon RX Vega 7 grafikkort som troligen har 7 CU:s. Minneskontrollenheten har stöd för dubbla kanaler och DDR4-3200 minne samt energieffektivt LPDDR4-4266 minne. Vidare har chippet 8 MB level 3-cache. TDP-värdet är specificerat till 35 Watt (som standard). Det innebär att chippet är för stora och relativt tunga laptops. Ryzen 7 4900HS är en 35 W-version av R9 4900H och har ett TDP-värde som är 10 Watt lägre.
