Intel Core i7-14700HX
Intel Core i7-14700HX är en high-end CPU baserad på den nya Raptor Lake-arkitekturen för stora och tunga bärbara datorer. Processorn introducerades i början av 2024 som en del av Raptor Lake HX-uppdateringen. I7-14700HX liknar Core i7-13850HX med något högre klockade CPU-kärnor.
De totalt 28 trådarna är uppdelade i P-kärnor och E-kärnor, som vi redan känner till från Alder Lake. 13700HX erbjuder 8 prestandakärnor (P-kärnor) med hyperthreading och 12 effektivitetskärnor (E-kärnor) utan hyperthreading. Totalt stöds därför 28 trådar. P-kärnorna klockar upp till 5,5 GHz (single core) och E-kärnorna upp till 3,9 GHz. Den integrerade minneskontrollern stöder maximalt DDR5 med 5600 MHz.
Jämfört med Alder Lake erbjuder den nya Raptor Lake-arkitekturen förbättrade P-kärnor (Raptor Cove-arkitektur med mer cache), fler E-kärnor (samma Gracemont-arkitektur) och högre klockfrekvenser tack vare den förbättrade Intel 7-processen. Dessutom stöder Intel nu snabbare DDR5-huvudminne (upp till 5600 MHz) i toppmodellerna.
13700HX tillverkas i den äldre 10nm FinFET-processen hos Intel (Intel 7-processen) och är specificerad med 55 watts baseffekt och 157 watts turboeffekt.
