AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X är en stationär processor med 8 kärnor och SMT (simultaneous multithreading), vilket innebär att den kan bearbeta 16 trådar samtidigt. I april 2022 presenterade AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, en ny 8-kärnig processor som är mycket lik AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. På grund av den lägre TDP finns det dock inga begränsningar för klockfrekvensen. Ändå når AMD Ryzen 7 5700X upp till 4,6 GHz i boost, vilket bara är 100 MHz mindre än AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Basklockan sjunker dock avsevärt till 3,4 GHz.
Prestandan för AMD Ryzen 7 5700X är genomgående utmärkt i alla applikationer. Den inbyggda 8-kärnan kan verkligen visa upp sina styrkor, särskilt i flertrådade applikationer, även om enkelkärnans prestanda också har förbättrats avsevärt jämfört med den äldre Zen 2-arkitekturen.
Processorns interna struktur liknar AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. CCX-modulerna är också anslutna till varandra via I/O-formen, vilket vi redan känner till från Zen2. Men enligt AMD ska Infinity Fabric nu uppnå klockfrekvenser på upp till 2 GHz, vilket i sin tur möjliggör en RAM-klockfrekvens på 4 000 MHz utan någon prestandaförlust.
När det gäller tillverkningsprocesser förlitar sig AMD också på TSCM för 7 nm-produktionen av CPU-kärnorna i Vermeer-processorerna, även om I/O-formen fortfarande levereras i 12 nm av Globalfoundries.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X är imponerande i spel tack vare den avsevärt förbättrade IPC jämfört med Zen2. När det gäller strömförbrukning imponerar AMD Ryzen 7 5700X med sin låga TDP på bara 65 watt. Detta innebär att processorn också kan drivas med en kompakt luftkylare utan problem. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X drivs med en TDP på 105 watt.
