Intel i9-10900K

Intel Core i9-10900K är en högklassig processor för stationära datorer med tio kärnor som bygger på Comet Lake-arkitekturen (CML-S, fjärde generationen av Skylake). Processorn klockar mellan 3,7 och 5,3 GHz (alla tio kärnor upp till 4,8 GHz) och kan exekvera upp till tjugo trådar samtidigt tack vare Hyper-Threading. De 5,3 GHz kan endast uppnås under 70 °C kärntemperatur (Thermal Velocity Boost på 100 MHz).

Processorn tillverkas fortfarande i den gamla 14nm-processen (14nm++). Jämfört med föregångaren Core i9-9900K erbjuder 10900K högre klockfrekvenser och två fler kärnor. Tack vare den fria multiplikatorn kan processorn också lätt överklockas (men kanske inte har så mycket utrymme).

Comet Lake-arkitekturen liknar Coffee Lake och erbjuder samma funktioner och tillverkas i samma 14nm-process. Förutom de förbättrade klockfrekvenserna har minneskontrollern nu även stöd för snabbare DDR4-2933 RAM-minne. Mer information om Comet Lake och alla modeller och artiklar om den hittar du här.

Prestanda

Tack vare den höga Turbo Boost är processorn den snabbaste spelprocessorn som fanns tillgänglig vid tidpunkten för tillkännagivandet. Vid användning av alla kärnor är i9 dock långsammare än de bästa Ryzen-CPU:erna (som Ryzen 9 3950X) som erbjuder fler kärnor.

Grafik

Den integrerade Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU:n ska erbjuda en liknande prestanda som UHD630 i Core i7-9900K. Som en lösning i lågprissegmentet kommer den endast att köra aktuella spel smidigt med reducerade detaljer - om alls.

Strömförbrukning

Intel anger TDP med 125 Watt (PL1) men vid full belastning förbrukas upp till 250 Watt (PL2). I standardläget kan dessa 250 Watt och därmed höga klockfrekvenser bibehållas i upp till 56 sekunder, men alla kort erbjuder möjligheten att ändra dessa inställningar.
