Intel Celeron 6305

Intel Celeron 6305 (eller 6305U) är en strömsnål dubbelkärnig SoC för bärbara datorer och ultrabooks baserad på Tiger Lake-U-generationen som tillkännagavs under tredje kvartalet 2020. Den integrerar endast två Willow Cove-processorkärnor (2 trådar eftersom ingen HyperThreading/SMT). Klockfrekvensen är satt till 1,8 GHz eftersom chippet inte har stöd för Turbo Boost. Tack vare de arkitektoniska förbättringarna av processorkärnorna bör Celeron 6305 ändå vara snabbare än den gamla Comet Lake-U-baserade Celeron 5205U (1,9 GHz, ingen Turbo).

En annan nyhet är det integrerade Xe-grafikkortet som bygger på den helt nya Gen 12-arkitekturen. Det ska erbjuda en betydligt högre prestanda jämfört med det äldre UHD Graphics G1 (Ice Lake). I 6305U kallar Intel det bara för UHD Graphics och erbjuder 48 EUs.

Andra förbättringar från Ice Lake ska också vara integrerade i Tiger Lake som AI-hårdvaruacceleration och den partiella integrationen av Thunderbolt och Wifi 6 i chipet.

Chippet tillverkas i den förbättrade 10nm+-processen (kallad 10 nm SuperFin) hos Intel som ska vara jämförbar med 7nm-processen hos TSMC (t.ex. Ryzen 4000-serien).
