AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE OEM desktop grafikkort recension: Test av GPU:ns prestanda i ett Memory:PC-system

En dold pärla till ett rimligt pris!

Utan mycket förvarning har AMD släppt Radeon RX 7900 GRE. Initialt var grafikkortet endast tänkt att finnas tillgängligt i Kina. I denna recension har vi tagit en närmare titt på GPU:n som endast kan köpas via systemtillverkaren Memory:PC. Läs vidare och ta reda på hur bra denna modell presterade.

Man kan nästan anta att AMD har lanserat sitt Radeon RX 7900 GRE i hemlighet. Inte mycket ryktades i upploppet, eftersom den här modellen ursprungligen inte var avsedd att släppas utomlands. Men nu kan du hitta grafikkortet på andra ställen också - men med en liten fångst. Detta grafikkort kan endast köpas som en del av ett komplett system eller via ett uppgraderingskit. Dessutom är Memory:PCaMD:s exklusiva partner, vilket innebär att du tyvärr inte kan undvika denna butik om du vill köpa AMD:s nyaste modell.

För denna recension har vi fått ett färdigt system från Memory:PC baserat på enAMD Ryzen 7 5700Xmed 16 GB RAM-minne ochAMD Radeon RX 7900 GREatt ta en närmare titt på. PC-systemet vi testade går för närvarande att hitta för cirka 1 200 USD. I denna recension har vi tagit en titt på det nya AMD-grafikkortet samt hela systemets prestanda. För en bättre jämförelse körde vi också alla riktmärken med AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE igen med vårt GPU-testsystem. Detta innebär en nuvarande AMD5-plattform med AMD Ryzen 9 7950X och 32 GB DDR5 RAM.

Fall

Memory:PC har valt ett chassi från SQ power för att husera detta system. För att vara exakt är det SQ Tower 01 RGB med ett glasfönster på sidan och på framsidan. Detta låter dig behålla en fin vy över den installerade hårdvaran och fläktarna med sin TGB-belysning sätts i rampljuset. Det finns bara ett problem med glasfronten, nämligen att den förhindrar effektivt luftflöde i chassit. Ett chassi med en meshfront hade varit ett bättre val, vilket också möjliggör ett mer effektivt luftflöde inom det. Allt som allt är chassit relativt kompakt och ger den installerade hårdvaran tillräckligt med utrymme. Totalt är systemet utrustat med fyra 120-millimetersfläktar som omedelbart märks när du slår på systemet tack vare deras RGB-belysning. Du kan välja mellan olika ljuseffekter via en knapp på ovansidan. Detta innebär att du kan undvika att behöva använda en extra RGB-programvara på systemet.

Anslutningsmöjligheter

När det gäller anslutningsmöjligheter är du begränsad till vad det installerade moderkortet tillåter. Vårt testsystem är utrustat med Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2, som vi har bifogat ett foto av. Baksidan har tillräckligt med USB-anslutningar och internt belönas du också med ganska bra anslutningsalternativ. Samtidigt bör man vara medveten om att detta är ett bra mellanklassmoderkort som i dagsläget går att hitta för ca 110 USD. Memory:PC erbjuder dock även andra moderkort som kan vara billigare eller dyrare beroende på deras funktioner. Du kan välja mellan några olika modeller när du gör en beställning. Så om du letar efter en modell med en integrerad WLAN-modul måste du välja en annan, eftersom vårt testexemplars konfiguration inte erbjuder detta.

Underhåll

Att utföra underhåll på systemet är inga problem. Alla sidodelar kan enkelt tas bort för att komma åt komponenterna, till exempel för att ta bort damm från dem. Du har också möjlighet att utföra uppgraderingar. Två av de fyra RAM-platserna är lediga och ytterligare en M.2-lagringsenhet kan också installeras. Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2 erbjuder standard SATA-anslutningar, om du behöver ytterligare lagringsenheter för din spelsamling. Själva chassit har plats för ytterligare fyra lagringsenheter (2x 3,5-tums och 2x 2,5-tums).

Prestanda - En sparsam Ryzen 7 5700X med 8 kärnor

AMD Ryzen 7AMD Ryzen 7 5700Xi denna testkonfiguration är en sparsam 8-kärnig processor med 16 trådar. I allmänhet är denna bas bra och tillräckligt kraftfull för att spela uppdaterade spel. Ändå bör du vara medveten om att det i framtiden sannolikt inte kommer att släppas några nya processorer på AM4-plattformen. Du kan uppgradera tillAMD Ryzen 7 5800X3Dsom den snabbaste spelprocessorn. Denna processor erbjuder ännu mer prestanda när du spelar tack vare sin 3D-cache. Om du letar efter något lite mer framtidssäkert är det bättre att satsa på en AM5-plattform. Memory:PC erbjuder också flera alternativ för detta.

Processor

AMD Ryzen 7AMD Ryzen 7 5700Xär en bra 8-kärnig processor från Vermeer-generationen baserad på Zen3. Med sina 65 watt är processorn också mycket sparsam samtidigt som den fortfarande lyckas uppnå solid prestanda för många användningsområden. I likhet med AMD Ryzen 7 5800X tillkännagav AMD bara Ryzen 7 5700X förra året och i sin tur erbjuder den nästan samma prestandanivåer men med betydligt lägre strömförbrukning. Tack vare sin Zen3-arkitektur drar AMD Ryzen 7 5700X nytta av en bra IPC. AMD Ryzen 7 5700X har dock ett ganska svårt jobb att direkt konkurrera med nyare modeller. Jämfört med Intels Raptor Lake-processorer kan vårt testprov bara konkurrera med enIntel Core i5-13400Foch jämfört med AMD måste AM4-modellen erkänna sig besegrad av AM5. I genomsnitt är enAMD Ryzen 5 7600Xi genomsnitt leverera 17 procent mer prestanda.

Systemets prestanda

Testsystemet klarade sig bra i PCMark 10 syntetiska benchmarks, även om det inte kunde räkna Crossmark som en av sina styrkor. Vårt testexemplar kunde inte heller riktigt lysa i RAM-testerna och på grund av deras högre RAM-klocka gjorde konkurrenterna bättre ifrån sig. Subjektivt sett kunde vi inte märka något negativt under testfasen när det gäller systemprestanda. Vardagligt arbete på datorn görs utan problem och även installation av alla benchmarkprogram och spel visade sig inte vara något problem för systemet. Det känns också som om systemet kan arbeta med uppgifter samtidigt utan några märkbara fördröjningar.

Lagringsenheter

Memory:PC har installerat en SSD från Adata i vårt testexemplar. 1-TB-modellen använder M.2-anslutningen och kunde uppnå solida skriv- och läshastigheter. Tyvärr kunde den installerade modellen inte sätta några nya rekord. Även om detta inte är nödvändigt, eftersom du inte riktigt märker detta i vardaglig användning ändå. Trots detta skulle vi vilja ha sett något bättre 4K-läshastigheter. Vid 26 MB/s är dessa något låga. Snabbare modeller kan ibland nå 100 MB/s. Även om den installerade SSD-enheten inte har tillgång till någon kylning, levererar den fortfarande mycket stabil prestanda under belastning. Förmodligen tar CPU-kylaren (övre fläkten) in tillräckligt med frisk luft. Vi ser inga problem med den valda lagringsmängden. I slutet av dagen kan du enkelt installera ytterligare lagringsenheter i systemet. En kan installeras direkt i moderkortet som en M.2 SSD. Ytterligare lagringsenheter måste använda SATA-anslutningarna på moderkortet.
