AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X är en snabb high-end stationär processor i Raphael-serien. Den erbjuder 12 kärnor baserade på Zen 4-arkitekturen som stöder hyperthreading (24 trådar). Kärnorna klockar från 4,7 (bas) upp till 5,7 GHz (single core boost). När alla 12 kärnor är fullt belastade är den maximala klockhastigheten 5,1 GHz. 7900X är den näst snabbaste Ryzen vid lanseringen, endast överträffad av Ryzen 9 7950X med 4 fler kärnor.
Prestandan hos R9 7900X är klart bättre än den gamla Ryzen 9 5900X tack vare den förbättrade arkitekturen och den moderna 5nm-processen. Jämfört med Intels Raptor Lake Core i9-13700K är single-core-prestandan något lägre och multi-core-prestandan något snabbare. Spelprestandan är lite lägre och är i genomsnitt bara i nivå med Core i5-13600K och även lägre än den gamla Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
Raphael-serien använder fortfarande en chiplet-design med två CCD-kluster (vardera med 8 möjliga kärnor) i 5 nm och en IO-die (inklusive minneskontrollern och Radeon Graphics iGPU) i 6 nm.
