Intel 6820HK

Intel Core i7-6820HK är en fyrkärnig processor baserad på arkitekturen Skylake, som lanserades i september 2015. Förutom fyra CPU-kärnor med Hyper-Threading och klockfrekvenser på 2,7 - 3,6 GHz (4 kärnor: max 3.2 GHz , 2 kärnor: max 3.4 GHz) integrerar chippet en HD Graphics 530-GPU och en minnesstyrenhet för dual-channel DDR4-2133/DDR3L-1600 minneskontroller. CPU:n tillverkas i en 14 nm-process med FinFET-transistorer.

För närvarande är Core i7-6820HK den enda Skylakeprocessorn med upplåst multiplikator för enkel överklockning (motsvarar tidigare Extreme Editions).

Arkitektur

Skylake ersätter både Haswell och Broadwell med samma mikroarkitektur i varje TDP-klass från 4,5-45 W. Förbättringarna i Skylake jämfört med föregångarna är större out-of-order-buffertar, optimerad prefetching och branch prediction samt ytterligare prestandaförbättringar med Hyper-Threading. Sammanlagt har dock prestandan per klockcykel bara ökat med 5-10 procent (jämfört med Haswell) respektive mindre än 5 procent (jämfört med Broadwell), vilket är ganska blygsamt för en ny arkitektur (Intels "Tock").

Prestanda

Tack vare en förbättrad arkitektur presterar Core i7-6820HK ungefär i nivå med de äldre Core i7-4900MQ (Haswell) eller Core i7-5700HQ (Broadwell). Under långvarig full belastning, kommer Skylakeprocessorn att ta ledningen över de flesta av sina Haswell-baserade föregångare, eftersom den avancerade 14 nm-processen leder till högre energieffektivitet och minskar strypningen. Om 6820HK är överklockad (vi har testat upp till 4,0 GHz på alla 4 kärnor) är resultatet ännu bättre.

Grafik

Den integrerade grafikkretsen med namnet HD Graphics 530 är "GT2"-versionen i Skylake-serien (Intel Gen. 9). De 24 exekveringsenheterna, även kallade EUs, har en klockfrekvens på 350-1050 MHz och presterar ca 20 procent bättre än HD Graphics 4600. Strömförbrukning

Med en TDP på ​​45 W (inklusive CPU, GPU och minneskontroller), är Core i7-6920HQ bäst lämpad för större bärbara datorer från 15 tum och uppåt. TDP:n kan sänkas till 35 watt (cTDP down), vilket reducerar både värmeutveckling och prestanda.
