NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (kodnamn GN21-X2) är en bärbar GPU i mellanklassen. Den är baserad på AD107-chippet och använder Ada Lovelace-arkitekturen. Den bärbara datorn RTX 4050 erbjuder 2560 shaders och använder 6 GB GDDR6 dedikerat grafikminne med en klockhastighet på 16 Gbps (effektiv) och en 96 bitars minnesbuss. TGP (Total Graphics Power) kan konfigureras mellan 35 och 115 Watt (+ 10-25 Watt Dynamic Boost från CPU) vilket leder till olika prestandanivåer. Boostklockan beror på TGP-inställningarna och sträcker sig från 1605 MHz (35 Watt) till 2370 MHz (115 Watt). Prestandan är därför också mycket beroende av den bärbara datorn och TDP-inställningarna.
I våra riktmärken ligger RTX 4050 något bakom den äldre mobila RTX 3060 men är klart snabbare än den mobila RTX 3050 Ti. Därför är den bäst lämpad för 1920x1080 spel vid höga till ultrainställningar beroende på spelet (se riktmärken nedan).
RTX 4050 erbjuder 80 tensorkärnor och stöder därför DLSS 3 inklusive ramgenerering som kan ha stor inverkan i spel som stöds. Raytracing-kärnorna kommer dock att se mindre användning, eftersom RTX 4050 inte erbjuder tillräckligt med prestanda för höga detaljinställningar och raytracing i krävande spel.
AD107-chippet är tillverkat i 5nm vid TSMC (4N-process).
