Apple M2 Pro 16-Core GPU
Apple M2 Pro 16-Core-GPU är ett integrerat grafikkort från Apple som erbjuder alla 16 av de 19 kärnorna i M2 Pro 10-kärnigt chip .
Grafikkortet har inget dedikerat grafikminne utan kan använda det snabba LPDDR5-6400 unified-minnet med en 256-bitars buss (upp till 200 GBit/s).
Enligt Apple är prestandan för 19-kärniga-GPU vara 30% högre än den gamla 16-kärniga GPU:n i M1 Pro . Därför bör den nedskurna 16-kärniga versionen fortfarande slå den gamla fullfjädrade 16-kärniga M1 Pro något och den gamla 14-kärniga mer tydligt.
GPU:n är avsedd att använda Apple Metal 2 API och kan fortfarande vara baserad på de äldre PowerVR-arkitekturerna (som senast användes i Apple A10). En ny funktion i MacBook Pro 14 från 2023 är stödet för HDMI 2.1 och 8k-utgång.
Apple M2 Pro tillverkas i den andra generationens 5nm-process hos TSMC.
