AMD Radeon R9 M390X

AMD Radeon R9 M390X är ett mobilt grafikkort i prestandaklassen för bärbara datorer. Det är förmodligen baserat på samma krets som AMD Radeon R9 M295X, som finns i iMac 5K från 2014. Det innebär att det bör bygga på den tredje generationens GCN-arkitektur (Tonga). Mängden shaders (grafikkärnor) är identisk, men klockfrekvensen har minskats med 15% (från 850 MHz till 723 MHz) och minnet är också långsammare (5448 MHz vs 5000 MHz).

Prestandan bör vara lite lägre än M295X. Jämfört med konkurrenterna bör R9-M390X placera sig någonstans mellan GeForce GTX 965M och 970M, och därför klara avancerade spel i 1080p-upplösning och höga detaljinställningar.

Strömförbrukningen uppskattas till runt 100 Watt TDP, vilket innebär att kortet bara platsar i större bärbara datorer (som Alienware M17x, där det lanserades).
