Qualcomm SD 8+ Gen 1

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform är en högklassig SoC för smartphones som introducerades i mitten av 2022 och tillverkas i 4 nm hos TSMC. Den integrerar en "Prime Core" baserad på en ARM Cortex-X2-arkitektur som klockas upp till 3,2 GHz. Tre andra prestandakärnor är baserade på Cortex-A710 men klockade upp till 2,5 GHz. Dessutom är fyra energisparande kärnor integrerade som är baserade på ARM Cortex-A510-arkitekturen och klockade upp till 1,8 GHz. Alla kärnor kan använda den delade 6 MB nivå 3-cachen.

Jämfört med Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 tillverkas SoC:n nu i den mer energieffektiva 4nm-processen hos TSMC och erbjuder högre klockade CPU- och GPU-kärnor (till en lägre energiförbrukning enligt Qualcomm).

Den integrerade AI-motorn kan erbjuda upp till 4 gånger snabbare AI-prestanda tack vare den större Tensor-motorn. Den 18-bitars spektral-ISP:n fick också stora förbättringar och heter nu Snapdragon Sight.

Den integrerade Adreno 730 erbjuder en 30 % grafikförstärkning jämfört med den tidigare Adreno 660.

Det integrerade Snapdragon X65 5G-modemet är också nytt och erbjuder snabbare överföringshastigheter (upp till 10 Gbps nedladdning och 3 Gbps uppladdning). FastConnect 6900 erbjuder stöd för det aktuella Wifi 6E och Bluetooth 5.2.
