Qualcomm SD 665

Qualcomm Snapdragon 655 (SM6125) är en snabb ARM-baserad SoC för mittenskiktet som i huvudsak återfinns på Android-baserade surfplattor och telefoner. Den har 8 Kryo 260-kärnor (specialbyggd design, stöd för 64 bit) indelade i två kluster. Ett snabbt kluster bestående av fyra kärnor på upp till 2 GHz (Kryo 260 Gold - Cortex A73-baserad) samt ett energibesparande kluster på upp till 1.8 GHz (Kryo 260 Silver - Cortex A53-baserad). Båda klustren kan också användas samtidigt.

Utöver de 8 CPU-kärnorna har denna SoC en integrerad Adreno 610 GPU från mittenskiktet med en LPDDR4-minneskontrollenhet (dubbla kanaler) och har stöd för WiFi (802.11ac + MIMO, max. 867 Mbps), Bluetooth 5 och LTE (X12 LTE-modem med upp till 600 Mbps nerladdning och 150 Mbps uppladdning).

Energiförbrukning

Tack vare den nya LPP-processen på 11 nm bör den vara ganska energieffektiv.
