Mediatek Dimensity 8200-Ultra

MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra är en ARM-baserad SoC (system-on-a-chip) i övre mellanklassen som tillverkas med den moderna 4 nm-processen. Den är speciellt utformad för användning i Android smartphones och ligger i den övre klassen när det gäller prestanda. Den stöder alla aktuella standarder för mobil kommunikation, inklusive 5G SA.

CPU:n arbetar med totalt åtta kärnor, som är uppdelade i två kluster. I det första klustret har en ARM Cortex-A78 power core klockad till 3,1 GHz sällskap av ytterligare tre ARM Cortex-A78 power cores klockade till 3 GHz. I det andra klustret arbetar fyra ARM Cortex-A55 power cores vid 2,0 GHz. LPDDR5 RAM kan användas som RAM-minne och UFS 3.1 stöds som internminne.

När det gäller anslutningsmöjligheter finns dubbel 5G med en teoretisk topphastighet på upp till 4,7 GBit/s, samt WiFi 6E och Bluetooth 5.3.

Mediatek Dimensity 8200-Ultra är en variant av den i övrigt identiska Mediatek Dimensity 8200 som har specialanpassats för Xiaomi och har förbättringar av kamerans ISP. En Imagiq 785-bildprocessor ansvarar för bearbetningen av kameradata. Videoinspelningar stöds med upp till 4K vid 60 fps. CPU-delen i den äldre Dimensity 8100 är mycket lik och erbjuder samma CPU- och GPU-kärnor.

Den integrerade ARM Mali-G610 MC6 grafikenhet kan driva skärmar med en upplösning på upp till 2 960 x 1 440 pixlar (WQHD+) och en uppdateringsfrekvens på upp till 120 Hz. Med Full HD+ är till och med upp till 180 Hz möjligt.
