Mediatek MT8188J

MediaTek MT8188J är en ARM SoC (System-on-a-Chip) i mellanklassen som introducerades under första kvartalet 2023 och som främst används i Android-baserade surfplattor. Den tillverkas med en 12-nanometersprocess och har totalt åtta CPU-kärnor (Octa-Core). Dessa består av två snabba Cortex-A78-kärnor och 6 Cortex-A55-kärnor som arbetar tillsammans i en big.LITTLE-konfiguration.

A78-kärnorna i MediaTek MT8188J kan klocka i hastigheter på upp till 2,2 GHz, medan A55-kärnorna kan nå hastigheter på upp till 2 GHz (går ner till 500 MHz). För grafikbearbetning använder den en ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. Dessutom ingår en videoavkodare med stöd för H.264 och H.265.

Förutom CPU och GPU har chipet en LPDDR4-minneskontroller som kan stödja upp till 8 GB RAM-minne. SoC innehåller också ett modem för WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 och LTE upp till Cat.7.
