Qualcomm 600 APQ8064T

Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T är en SoC (System-on-a-Chip)-krets i prestandaklassen för smartphones och surfplattor med Android. Den lanserades i början av 2013. 

Kretsen innehåller fyra CPU-kärnor som är ARMv7-kompatibla och har utvecklats av Qualcomm själva. Jämfört med Krait-kärnorna i Snapdragon S4 är arkitekturen förbättrad inom flera områden (Hardware Data Prefetcher, förbättrad Branch Prediction) och har ofta högre klockfrekvenser. Även om de inte är jämförbara med Cortex-A15-kärnor är strömförbrukningen också betydligt mindre.

Snapdragon 600 har en förbättrad GPU i form av Adreno 320, vilket är en något högre klockad version av den i föregångaren Snapdragon S4.

I multimediaprogram presterar 600 bra tack vare en särskild dekoder med  stöd för uppspelning av 1080p-video i en bildhastighet på 30 fps. Chippet integrerar även en radiomodul med Bluetooth 4.0 och WLAN 802.11ac/a/b/g/n.

Kretsen tillverkas av TSMC i en 28nm LP (låg effekt)-process och används främst i 5-tums mobiltelefoner i premiumsegmentet. ss
