OmniBook X Flip 16 har mer gemensamt med flaggskeppet Spectre-serien än den har med den billigare Pavilion -serien. Dess släta metalldesign, OLED-pekskärm och moderna Lunar Lake-processor balanserar bärbarhet och funktionalitet extremt väl, särskilt jämfört med de konkurrerande Dell 16 Plus 2-i-1 som känns billigare i jämförelse. Dess formfaktor och OLED-färger är lämpliga för alla typer av miljöer, allt från multimedia i hemmet till redigering på språng - helt i enlighet med "omni"-namnet.

Vissa användare kanske inte uppskattar hur annorlunda tangentbordet känns jämfört med de flesta andra bärbara HP-datorer och därför kan det ta lite tid att vänja sig vid skrivupplevelsen. Dessutom kommer råprestanda att vara långsammare än många 16-tums clamshells som HPs egen Envy 16, som vanligtvis levereras med processorer i H-serien och diskret grafik. Fodral - snyggare än en Dell

Den enfärgade, matta metalldesignen känns starkare och lyxigare än Dell 16 Plus 2-i-1 med liknande pris. Den böjer sig fortfarande lite mer än den dyrare Spectre x360 16 medan användare som är villiga att spendera hundratals dollar mer kommer att hitta Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 att vara ett märkbart lättare alternativ.

Tangentbord

Tangentbordet med nollgitter är en förändring från den nuvarande Spectre-serien, EliteBook-serien och den tidigare generationen Envy-serien. Även om tangentbrickorna är större är återkopplingen tyvärr både lättare och grundare än på de mer traditionella tangentborden på de flesta andra bärbara HP-datorer.

Pekplatta

Klickplattan har ungefär samma storlek som på Dell 16 Plus 2-i-1 (13,5 x 8,7 cm jämfört med 13,3 x 9 cm). Det är lättare att klicka eftersom det krävs mindre kraft än på Dells cabriolet, men återkopplingen är på den svampiga sidan.

OmniBook X Flip 16 använder en liknande 1800p 120 Hz Samsung OLED pekskärm som finns på Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 eller HP Spectre x360 16. Den erbjuder en högre inbyggd upplösning än Mini-LED- eller IPS-panelerna på Dell Plus 16 2-i-1 eller MSI Summit A16 AI Plus. Core Core Ultra 7 258V erbjuder liknande multithread-prestanda som den billigare Core Ultra 5 125U. Prestandahållbarheten är också hyfsad med ett underskott på cirka 10 procent när CineBench R15 xT körs i en loop.

Intel Lunar Lake är extremt effektiv och det gäller även på HP. När du kör Cyberpunk 2077, till exempel, skulle OmniBook X Flip 16 kräva mindre ström än på den AMD-drivna MSI Summit A16 AI Plus samtidigt som den erbjuder konsekvent snabbare bildhastigheter. Rå processorprestanda är dock fortfarande ingen match för Ryzen AI 9 365.
