Core i5-11320H mot Core i7-1165G7. NUC-alternativ kan ofta vara en blandad kompott, men Beelink SEi11 kommer väldigt nära en fullfjädrad NUC samtidigt som den kostar tusentals kronor mindre tack vare den ovanliga Core i5-11320H.

Till skillnad från Beelink GTI 11 drivs SEi11 av en CPU i Intel Core H-serien i stället för Core U-serien. Det finns bara en konfiguration tillgänglig för tillfället med den 11:e generationen Tiger Lake-H Core i5-11320H, 16 GB RAM och 500 GB NVMe SSD för cirka 450 USD

Chassit är i huvudsak Intel-versionen av det AMD-drivna Beelink SER4. Mått och konstruktion är nästan exakt likadana, men SEi11 är cirka 50 gram lättare, troligen på grund av några mindre interna förändringar. Kommunikation

Enheten levereras med den relativt nya MediaTek RZ608 för Wi-Fi 6E och Bluetooth 5.2. Tyvärr är modulen inte lika pålitlig eller snabb som de vanliga Intel AX-lösningarna. När den är kopplad till vårt 6 GHz-nätverk toppar överföringshastigheten på endast ~750 Mbps jämfört med nästan dubbelt så mycket som en Intel AX201 eller AX210. Dessutom skulle systemet ha problem med att upptäcka vårt 6 GHz-nätverk överhuvudtaget.

Underhåll

Bottenpanelen fästs med 4 Philips-skruvar. För att faktiskt ta bort den rekommenderar vi dock att du fäster VESA-monteringsfästet så att det kan användas som ett handtag för att dra ut den platta plattan

Användare har direkt tillgång till M.2 2280 SSD-facket, 2,5-tums SATA III-facket, WLAN-modulen och 2x DDR4 SODIMM-facken.

Tillbehör och garanti

I förpackningen ingår 2x HDMI-kablar, växelströmsadapter, pappersarbete, VESA-monteringsfäste och extra skruvar. En ettårig begränsad tillverkargaranti gäller om den köps i USA. Som jämförelse kan nämnas att Intel NUC-modeller vanligtvis har en treårig garanti som standard.

Provningsförhållanden

Vi ställde in vår enhet i prestandaläge via Windows innan vi körde alla benchmarks nedan. Det finns inget förinstallerat program i stil med Control Center för att justera processorns prestanda.

Processor

Core i5-11320H är en ovanlig CPU eftersom de flesta andra datorer som drivs av Tiger Lake-H CPU:er vanligtvis använder sig av Core i5-11300H i stället. I5-11320H har i princip samma prestanda för alla ändamål. Den har små skillnader i klockfrekvens på pappret som inte har någon inverkan i de flesta applikationer baserat på våra observationer med Beelink.

Systembrus

Enhetens fläkt är alltid aktiv oavsett belastning eller aktivitet på skärmen. Den är tack och lov relativt tyst med endast 24,7 dB(A) mot en bakgrund på 22,8 dB(A), men användare som förväntar sig en helt tyst mini-dator kommer inte att hitta det här

Det totala fläktljudet är fortfarande tystare än på många andra minidatorer när man kör mer krävande belastningar. När man till exempel surfar på webben eller streamar video tenderar fläktljudet att pendla mellan 25 och 28 dB(A) jämfört med över 30 dB(A) på GTR5 eller Intel NUC11. Fläkten toppar på strax under 38 dB(A) när CPU:n används till 100 procent under långa perioder, vilket återigen är märkbart tystare än många alternativ.

Stresstest

Klockfrekvenserna och strömförbrukningen på kortet ökade till 2,9 GHz respektive 35 W när Prime95-stressen inleddes. Systemet kan bibehålla dessa värden på obestämd tid, om än vid en relativt hög kärntemperatur på 90 C. 35 W är det övre TDP-området för Core i5-11320H och SEi11 utnyttjar alltså processorn nära sin maximala potential.

GPU-klockfrekvens och temperatur vid körning Witcher 3 är relativt stabila på 1350 MHz respektive 83 C. Om man kör samma test på Intel NUC11 med Core i5-1135G7 skulle resultera i en mycket svalare kärntemperatur på 58 C i jämförelse.

Energiförvaltning

Effektförbrukning

Systemet är mer krävande än minidatorer som körs med CPU:er i den 11:e generationen av Core U-serien, t.ex. GTI 11 eller Intel NUC11. Beelinks portfölj med minidatorer innehåller en handfull "Intel NUC-killare" som kan erbjuda de flesta av samma funktioner, men för hundratals dollar mindre. SEi11 är ännu en framgångshistoria för företaget som till stor del beror på att Core i5-11320H som vi har visat är jämförbar med Core i7-1165G7 som återfinns i NUC-modeller som kostar nästan dubbelt så mycket. Kort sagt behöver användarna inte nöja sig med långsammare prestanda på Core i3-, Ryzen 3-, Celeron- eller Atom-nivå bara för att NUC-alternativet är så mycket billigare. Det tillgängliga RAM-minnet, den dubbla lagringslösningen och det breda urvalet av portar bör tillfredsställa de flesta HTPC-ändamål eller små hemmakontorsuppsättningar

Beelink SEi11 presterar nästan exakt som en Intel NUC11 med Core i7-1165G7 samtidigt som den kostar betydligt mindre.

Det finns ett par snäva detaljer att vara försiktig med. Thunderbolt och DisplayPort i synnerhet stöds inte medan WLAN är svagare än väntat. Standardgarantin är också kortare än den 36 månader långa garantin för en Intel NUC. Fläktljudet är generellt sett tystare än de flesta andra minidatorer om än till priset av varmare kärntemperaturer.
