Latitude 13 7350 efterträder förra årets Latitude 13 7340 genom att introducera Meteor Lake-U-alternativ för att ersätta den utgående Raptor Lake-U-serien. Annars förblir chassidesignen densamma som tidigare och därför rekommenderar vi att du kollar in vår recension på Latitude 13 7340 för att lära dig mer om de fysiska egenskaperna hos modellen.

Vår enhet i recensionen är en lägre konfiguration med Core Ultra 5 135U, 32 GB LPDDR5x 6400 MT/s RAM och 1200p matt skärm för cirka $1700 USD. Andra SKU:er är tillgängliga med Core Ultra 7 165U CPU och pekskärm, men den integrerade grafiken och 1200p-upplösningen är fasta i alla konfigurationer.

En konvertibel version av modellen finns också tillgänglig, kallad Latitude 13 7350 2-in-1, som kommer med en exklusiv 2560 x 1600 pekskärm. I övrigt delar den samma övergripande design och processoralternativ som vår clamshell-version i recensionen.

Latitude 13 7350 konkurrerar mot andra avancerade subnotebooks för företag som Lenovo ThinkBook 13x, Framework Laptop 13.5eller HP EliteBook 1040-serien. Detta är en av de få modeller som fortfarande levereras i en 13,3-tums formfaktor eftersom 13,5- och 14-tum blir allt vanligare i kategorin.

Hållbarhet

Batteriet består av 50 procent återvunnen kobolt medan chassit använder upp till 90 procent återvunnet magnesium och 50 procent återvunnet aluminium.

Garanti

Det finns inga extra tillbehör i lådan förutom nätadapter och pappersarbete. En treårig basgaranti med support på plats nästa dag ingår som standard om den köps direkt från Dell.

Skärm - Standard 60 Hz IPS

Dell använder samma Chi Mei 133JCG-panel för både Latitude 7340- och 7350-modellerna, vilket innebär att den visuella upplevelsen inte har förändrats för i år. Även om just denna panel erbjuder fantastiska färger och kontrastnivåer för en IPS-skärm, börjar den kännas lite daterad på grund av bristen på stöd för höga uppdateringsfrekvenser och Windows VRR. Svarstiderna för svartvitt och grått är också dåliga, vilket leder till märkbar ghosting vid streaming eller spelande.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Testförhållanden

Vi ställde in både Windows och Dell Optimizer i prestandaläge innan vi körde nedanstående benchmarks.

Processor

Core Ultra 5 Core Ultra 5 135U erbjuder en respektabel 20 till 25 procents ökning av flertrådsprestanda jämfört med förra årets Core i5-1345U i Latitude 7340. Den nya Core Ultra 5 är också snabbare än den nedslående Core i7-1355U. Uppgradering till Core Ultra 7 165U från vår baskonfiguration Core Ultra 5 135U förväntas öka prestandan med ytterligare 15 procent baserat på vår tid med Latitude 9450 2-i-1.

En viktig faktor som skiljer mellan Core Ultra 5 135U och Core Ultra 5 125H är den sämre prestandahållbarheten hos den förstnämnda. När vi körde CineBench R15 xT i en loop minskade prestandan med så mycket som 30 procent över tid för vår CPU i U-serien, medan vår CPU i H-serien kan upprätthålla snabbare prestanda under längre tid.

Stresstest

När Prime95 startas ökar processorn till 3,2 GHz, 59 W och 100 C under bara några sekunder innan den sjunker till 2,1 GHz och 24 W för att slutligen stabiliseras på 1,8 GHz, 17 W och 68 C. Upprepas samma test på Latitude 7330 med den äldre Core i7-1265U skulle resultera i varmare kärntemperaturer trots den långsammare prestandan för att visa mätbara prestanda-per-watt-vinster mellan Intel Core-generationerna. Fallet från 3,2 GHz till bara 1,8 GHz är dock brantare än vad vi skulle önska även för en CPU i Core U-serien.

GPU-klockfrekvens och temperatur när den körs Witcher 3 skulle stabiliseras på 1900 MHz respektive 65 C, jämfört med bara 1247 MHz och 83 C på Latitude 7330. Systemet går svalare än den två år gamla Latitude 7330-designen.

GPU-prestanda

Grafikprestanda med vårt integrerade Arc 4 är inte i närheten av lika kraftfull som Arc 8 som levereras med Core Ultra H-seriens processorer eller den konkurrerande Radeon 680M/780M-serien. Den är ändå ett steg över de äldre Xe Graphics G7 80 EUs eller 96 EUs, särskilt i DX12-testet Time Spy där vår Arc 4 kan vara upp till 15 till 30 procent snabbare. Den faktiska prestandan i spel ligger dock på samma nivå som Iris Xe-serien i de flesta testade titlar, med Tiny Tina's Wonderlands som ett undantag.
