Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Samsung Galaxy A70 är en skaplig smartphone. Men den kommer få svårt att stå ut bland det stora utbudet av mittenskiktstelefoner trots imponerande hårdvara.

Ett tjusigt hölje med en stor högupplöst Super AMOLED-skärm på 6.7 tum med ett 20:9-bildförhållande är definitivt ett stort plus, precis som de bra anslutningsfunktionerna, den långa batteritiden, stödet för dual-SIM och den rymliga interna lagringen.

Utmärkt hårdvara men medioker prestanda och kamerakvalitet - vi förväntar oss mer av en smartphone för 4.000 kronor.

Vilket för oss till telefonens brister. A70 har prestanda som är tillräckligt bra för vardagliga applikationer och uppgifter; men den är för långsam för moderna spel. För ett pris på runt 4.000 kronor hade vi väntat oss mer av A70. Trippelkameran var dessutom lite av en besvikelse då den bara tog skapliga bilder i dagsljus.

Ett bra alternativ till Samsungs Galaxy A70 är Xiaomis Mi 9 SE. Med en AMOLED-skärm på 5.97 tum må den vara en aning mindre, men den är billigare, snabbare och har dessutom ett bättre trippelkamerasystem.
