Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Display Response Times

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Honor View 10 är väldigt trendig med sin tunna infattning och stora skärm. Med tanke på enhetens toppskikts-komponenter och dess överkomliga pris på straxt under 5 500 kronor (enheten är ännu inte tillgänglig i USA) gör den väldigt attraktiv för den som letar efter ett kap. Och denna enhet från Huaweis marknadsförings-märke gör många saker bra: Den har ett gediget hölje, många inmatningsalternativ, hyfsade högtalare, en 3.5 mm ljudanslutning, en snabb LTE-modul, en infraröd sändare och bra kameror som kan ta väldigt fina bilder. Prestandan är hyfsad men enheten begränsas ibland av sporadisk överhettning. Men Honor View 10 har också några nackdelar - den långsamma WiFi-modulen, till exempel, samt den tvekande GPS-enheten och den höga energiförbrukningen.

Hög prestanda för ett lågt pris: Honor View 10 är lite nerskalad, men kan bli en riktig rival till Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Om du vill spara några tusen kronor men ändå letar efter hög prestanda och en bra kamera så kommer du inte bli besviken av View 10.

Totalt sett så måste vi säga att Huawei har trimmat ner sin smartphone på rätt områden för att den ska förbli en konkurrent till betydligt dyrare enheter. Om du letar efter toppskikts-prestanda för ett bra pris borde du verkligen ta en titt på Honor View 10. Även om OnePlus 5T erbjuder en ännu mer välavrundad upplevelse.
