Ett gott första intryck av vår ganska dyra konfiguration av Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (ca 12 000 kr) försämrades något efterhand. Pekplattan, som i övrigt är mycket bra, visade sig ha vissa konstruktionsproblem. Det väldigt mjuka tangentbordet var också en besvikelse för testaren.
Det visuellt fulländade chassit ser ganska bra ut (smaksak), men borde ha varit kraftigare. Optiska enheter har i stort sett fasats ut, men vi förväntade oss en här på grund av storleken och målgruppen. Drivrutinen för pekplattan är ett dåligt skämt, och den pulserande fläktstyrningen kan bara stängas av med hjälp av prestandabegränsningar.
Dyra pekskärmar med högblank yta är också en funktion av diskutabelt mervärde i det här segmentet. En annan fråga är om du verkligen kan dra nytta av den höga upplösningen på en 15-tumsskärm, eller om den bara innebär nackdelar i form av skalning och ett högt pris.
De positiva aspekterna inkluderar en bra skärm med breda betraktningsvinklar, hög prestanda och en mycket servicevänlig konstruktion där du faktiskt kan komma åt alla viktiga komponenter, inklusive fläkten. Många bärbara datorer, inklusive många spelmaskiner, bör se detta som en förebild.
Slutbetyget på ”bara” 82% innebär att vi inte riktigt kan rekommendera den här datorn, eftersom alternativ som Acer Aspire VN7 572G-72L0 (85%) enligt vår mening är ett mer attraktivt paket för samma pengar, trots den konventionella, men matta Full HD-skärmen och bara 2 GB VRAM.
