Portkonfigurationen (inklusive 2x Thunderbolt 4), tangentbordet (bakgrundsbelyst) och det kompakta, lätta magnesiumhöljet är detsamma som på föregångaren. Chassit borde vara mer styvt. Det är besvärligt att öppna höljet: De flesta av de skruvar som måste lossas för att ta bort bottenlocket döljs av kuddar som är fastlimmade (se bilder), och det finns fler skruvar bakom de två runda gummifötterna (som också är fastlimmade). Processor
Core i5-1240P (Alder Lake) består av fyra prestandakärnor (Hyper-Threading, 1,7-4,4 GHz) och åtta effektivitetskärnor (ingen Hyper-Threading, 1,2-3,3 GHz). Detta resulterar i totalt 16 logiska CPU-kärnor.
Cinebench R15-jämförelsetestet med flera trådar bearbetas kortvarigt vid medelhög klockfrekvens (P-kärnor: 2,5 GHz, E-kärnor: 2,2 GHz), varefter klockfrekvensen sjunker något (P-kärnor: 2 GHz, E-kärnor: 1,8 till 1,9 GHz). Testet med en enda tråd utförs vid 3,3 till 4,4 GHz (P-kärnor) och 2,1 till 3,3 GHz (E-kärnor). Klockfrekvenserna är betydligt lägre på batteri.
Klockfrekvenserna sjunker under de första körningarna av CB15-slingan, och basklockfrekvenserna underskrids ibland. Med andra ord: Turbo används knappt eller inte alls.
