ARM Mali-T760 MP8

ARM Mali-T760 MP8 är en snabb mobil grafiklösning, integrerad i ARM-kretsar som Samsungs Exynos 7420 Octa (Galaxy S6). Kretsen har varit tillgänglig sedan Q1/2015 och var en av de snabbaste lösningarna i sin kategori vid lanseringen. Förutom OpenGL ES 3.1, stöder GPU:n OpenCL 1.1 samt DirectX 11. Enligt ARM kan Mali-T760 skalas till 1-16 kärnor/kluster.

MP8 versionen innehåller 8 kluster och har en klockfrekvens på upp till 772 MHz (302 GFLOPS). I de flesta prestandatester överträffar den konkurrenten Adreno 420 (Snapdragon 805) och PowerVR GX6450 (Apple A8). Bara ett fåtal grafikkretsar, som Tegra K1/X1 eller GXA6850 (Apple A8X) är snabbare (2015). Totalt sett är Mali-T760 MP8 den snabbaste smartphone-GPU:n i början av 2015 och kan hantera även de mest krävande Androidspelen i höga upplösningar.

Trots sin imponerande prestanda har Mali-T760 MP8/Exynos 7420 en mycket blygsam strömförbrukning tack vare en avancerad 14 nm FinFET-process (Samsung LPE). Därför kan den användas även i mindre smartphones.
