Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Den globala versionen av Xiaomis propretiära MIUI 10.0 förtjänar ingen kritik, bortsett från att man behöver skapa ett Mi-användarkonto. Vi var heller inte särskilt nöjda med att det då och då dök upp meddelanden som bad oss betygsätta appar.

Mi 8 Lite har superb systemprestanda och ligger på samma nivå som resten av dess konkurrenter. Vidare höjer Xiaomi ribban för vad man kan förvänta sig av en smartphone från mittenskiktet genom att utrusta Mi 8 Lite med 6 GB RAM och 128 GB intern lagring. Kamerorna levererar dessutom riktigt bra bildkvalitet. Tyvärr har den inget NFC-chipp, så telefonen kan inte använda tjänster som Google Pay. Den som inte behöver en 3.5 mm hörlursanslutning och nöjer sig med USB 2.0-hastigheter kommer inte att hitta en bättre telefon för 2.700 kronor.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite ställer press på konkurrenterna på den europeiska marknaden och erbjuder ett riktigt bra förhållande mellan pris och prestanda.
