OnePlus 3 är en lyckad smartphone som inte bara erbjuder bra hårdvara, utan även ser bra ut och är välbyggd. Den har en snabb Snapdragon 820-krets, hela 6 GB RAM, fingeravtrycksläsare, stöd för dubbla SIM, NFC, en anständig kamera och snabbladdning – och den kan bli din för under 4 000 kr. Det finns knappast någon annan smartphone med samma ambitioner.

Även när man tittar på den kinesiska marknaden är alternativen få, särskilt inte med motsvarande kvalitet. Den starkaste utmanaren för närvarande är ZTE Axon 7. Fördelen med ZTE är att priset kommer att sjunka medan priserna på OnePlus brukar förbli oförändrade. Ett annat intressant alternativ är LG G5, vars pris redan har sjunkit avsevärt.

Allt med OnePlus 3 är inte perfekt och den utgör inget direkt hot mot marknadsledaren från Samsung. Skärmens upplösning och färgreproduktion räcker inte för det och kameran i S7 är minst en klass bättre, särskilt i dåliga ljusförhållanden. Anslutningar och sensorutrustning i OnePlus 3 är inte helt oklanderliga heller. LTE Cat.6 har varit standard sedan början av 2015 och mobilen är inte längre någon globetrotter, då frekvensbanden anpassas regionalt. Minneskortplats saknas och högtalaren är mindre imponerande.

Det här är visserligen invändningar på en mycket hög nivå – även om de tekniska aspekterna inte räcker till för att inta prispallen är OnePlus 3 en mycket tilltalande och prisvärd enhet.
