Lenovo IdeaPad Duet är en liten omvandlingsbar som kör Chrome OS. Tack vare stöd för Android och Linux finns det många möjliga program till den lilla surfplattan. Men kom ihåg att både Android och Linux körs virtuellt på enheten, så du får leva med sänkt hastighet för dessa.
Till och med den inbyggda Chrome-webbläsaren får MediaTeks SoC att svettas, och du får leva med en viss ryckighet.
Men i gengäld får du en fullständig desktop-webbläsare och i kombination med Linux blir den en intressant mobil lösning för webbutvecklare. Vill du däremot bara använda Android-appar och inte behöver en desktop-webbläsare är en Android-surfplatta eller en iPad troligen ett bättre val.
IdeaPads tekniska mätvärden står inte i vägen. Skärmen visar upp goda karaktärsdrag - särskilt med tanke på priset. Men man kommer troligen önska sig ännu högre ljusstyrka om man vill använda den utomhus i soljus. Tangentbordet och styrplattan passar bra för storleken och prisskiktet, men den som skriver mycket vill nog hellre ha en större enhet. Det går heller inte att klaga på batteritiden och ljud- och värmenivåerna. Således kan kombinationen av Linux, Android, en fullfjädrad Chrome-webbläsare, lång batteritid och hög mobilitet vara en intressant kompromiss för en del användare.
