Instegsmodellen Omen 15 visade sig vara en av dom bästa bärbara speldatorerna för under 10.000 kronor.

Förvisso, kombinationen av en Core i5-8300H, ett GeForce GTX 1050 Ti och 8 GB DDR4 RAM kanske inte är särskilt framtidssäker. Men när vi skriver detta kan 15-tummaren Omen 15 köra nästan alla spel på höga eller maximala inställningar och är därför perfekt för gamers som vill tänka på budgeten.

HP har förstås fått skära ned på saker för att kunna hålla priset under 10.000 kronor, exempelvis har skärmen dålig färgrymdstäckning och låg ljusstyrka, SSD-enheten har dåliga skrivprestanda och datorn saknar Thunderbolt 3.

Om du inte har något emot dessa nackdelar får du en väldigt välbalanserad spellaptop med ett tjusigt hölje, skapliga inmatningsenheter, massor av portar och hyfsad ljudprestanda. Den smala skärminfattningen och den långa batteritiden var definitivt två av enhetens höjdpunkter.

Med tanke på att dess konkurrenter var både tystare och svalare så borde HP åtgärda kyllösningen i Omen 15. Särskilt med tanke på att en modell med Core i7-8750H snart kommer att finnas tillgänglig.
