En vägkrigare med kraft från Ryzen. Intel-versionen av Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 har redan fått ett mycket bra betyg. Den kompakta kontorsdatorn blir nu ännu bättre med AMD Ryzen 5000-serien. Cezanne U-processorerna gör Lenovo ThinkPad snabbare samtidigt som de sänker temperatur och fläktljud.

Namnet "ThinkPad X13 Gen 2" avser två modeller. Lenovos minsta ThinkPad för företag, förutom ThinkPad Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano, finns både med Intel- och AMD-processorer. Vi recenserade redan årets stora 16:10-uppdatering när ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 Intel tog sig igenom våra testlabb i juli - nu är det AMD-modellens tur. Med årets 16:10-omdesign av ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 uppdaterade Lenovo utbudet av tillgängliga skärmalternativ. HD-upplösningen (1366x768) har äntligen tagits bort från sortimentet. Dessutom är alla skärmar i ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 nu IPS-baserade

Vi kunde redan testa baspanelen som installerades i vår enhet, som har en WUXGA-upplösning och tillverkas av BOE, i ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 Intel. Mätningarna är mycket likartade, även om den modell som testas här är något svagare och missar precis det angivna ljusstyrkevärdet på 300 cd/m² med ett genomsnitt på 297 cd/m². Färgprofilen för Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 AMD kan beskrivas som något för varm - som vanligt gjordes mätningarna av skärmen med CalMan-programvaran och X-Rite i1Pro 2-kolorimetern. Vi kunde korrigera den här effekten genom att utföra en kalibrering med X-Rite i1Profiler, vilket resulterade i en genomsnittlig DeltaE 2000 för färgvärden på drygt 0,8 efter kalibreringen. Som vanligt kan du ladda ner färgprofilen som vi skapade gratis.

Skärmens bildåtergivning är acceptabel, om än inte fantastisk - ett något högre kontrastvärde än det uppmätta 1 188:1 skulle gynna skärmen. Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Prestanda: AMD Ryzen Pro ger prestandaökning för Lenovos bärbara dator

Det finns tre Pro- och en icke-Pro Ryzen-processor tillgängliga i ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 AMD: DenAMD Ryzen 3 Pro 5450U, denRyzen 5 Pro 5650U, denRyzen 7 Pro 5850Usamt AMD Ryzen 5 5600U. Det finns inga dedikerade GPU:er, vilket innebär att den integrerade AMD Radeon-lösningen får duga.

RAM-minne har lödts in i ThinkPad X-serien sedan 2018 - åtminstone finns det nu upp till 32 GB, och ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 har nu snabbare LPDDR4X-4266-minne i stället för DDR4-3200. En M.2-2280 SSD med en maximal kapacitet på 2 TB, som använder ett NVMe PCIe 3.0-gränssnitt, tar över rollen som masslagring.

AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U är en U-processor med en typisk förbrukning på 15-25 watt. Dess sex Zen 3-kärnor av "Cezanne"-generationen når en maximal klockfrekvens på 4,2 GHz, och basklockfrekvensen är 2,3 GHz. Tack vare Hyper-Threading erbjuder processorn totalt 12 trådar. I förra årets ThinkPad X13 Gen 1 AMDkunde vi testa den snabbaste tillgängliga processorn, denRyzen 7 Pro 4750U i det fallet. Imponerande nog lyckas den modernare hexa-kärniga processorn i Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 AMD matcha den äldre octa-kärniga processorn. I enkärnigt läge är Cezanne-chipet märkbart snabbare än Renoir-processorn, och skillnaden mellan de två är liten i flerkärnig prestanda.

CPU-prestandan är helt tillgänglig på batteri.

Samsung PM981a är en NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD som installeras i Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 AMD i formatet M.2-2280. Detta är en mycket snabb SSD, men den är något långsammare än Hynix SSD i ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 Intel-modellen.

Därför är det knappast förvånande att Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 AMD ligger föreX13 Gen 1 AMD när det gäller GPU-prestanda, eftersom Lenovo endast försåg den senare med DDR4-3200-minne. Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 är i stort sett motsatsen till en bärbar dator för spel. Den kan dock ändå klara av att köra ett spel då och då efter jobbet - förutsatt att respektive spel är ett äldre spel och att detaljnivåerna samt upplösningen inte är inställda på max.
