Zen för oss andra. AMD Ryzen 5 7600 är en 65 W Raphael CPU som syftar till att sänka gränsen för AAA-spel och innehållsskapande uppgifter. I den här recensionen testar vi AMD:s Zen 4 SKU på instegsnivå, ser hur den står sig i jämförelse med konkurrenterna, inklusive Intel Raptor Lake och Alder Lake tillsammans med andra Zen 3- och Zen 4-erbjudanden, och utvärderar om detta kan vara en gångbar CPU för ditt nästa mainstreambygge.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600 i recension

AMD presenterade 65 W Ryzen 7000-familjen med inriktning på budgetpriser på CES 2023. Dessa är i stort sett identiska med Ryzen 7000X-processorerna förutom något lägre boostklockor och har stöd för överklockning.

Tidigare har vi recenserat AMD Ryzen 7 7700 som en av de första sådana 65 W icke-X-delarna. Nu får vi granska instegsmodellen Ryzen 5 7600. En recension av toppmodellen Ryzen 9 7900 kommer att följa inom kort.

Ryzen 5 7600 har sex kärnor och 12 trådar med en boostklocka på 5,1 GHz (jämfört med 5,3 GHz för Ryzen 5 7600).Ryzen 5 7600X). Processorn har en TDP på 65 W och säljs för närvarande för ₹22 997 (281,5 USD) på den indiska marknaden.

Observera: Vi håller på att övergå till att byta ut vårt GPU-val från RTX 3090 till RTX 4090 för CPU-tester på skrivbord. Därför är syntetiska 3D- och speljämförelser med RTX 4090 endast tillgängliga för ett begränsat antal CPU:er för tillfället. Vi hoppas kunna testa fler processorer med RTX 4090 under de kommande dagarna.

Benchmarks som endast omfattar CPU:er bör inte påverkas av den här ändringen.

CPU-jämförelser: Slår alla Zen 3 CPU:er och Core i9-12900K i single-core

AMD Ryzen 5 7600 med 6C/12T och 65 W är en hårsmån snabbare än AMD Ryzen 5 7600 med 8C/16T Ryzen 7 5800X på 105 W i kumulativ CPU-prestanda, men ligger efter den Ryzen 5 7600X med cirka 7 % på grund av lägre boostklockor.

Även om vi ser en ledning på 11 % jämfört med Intel Core i5-12600Kligger processorn också efter Core i5-13600K med 15 %.

I Cinebench R20 och Cinebench R23 ser vi att Ryzen 5 7600 lätt överträffar alla Zen 3- CPU:er, inklusive Ryzen 9 5950X, i enkelkärnig. AMD har konsekvent visat utmärkt prestanda i enstaka kärnor med Zen 4, och vi ser att Ryzen 5 7600 ligger bara 8 % och 10 % bakom flaggskeppsdelarna Ryzen 9 7950X och Ryzen 9 7950X3D i de ovannämnda testerna.

Även om Cinebench-testerna visar på ett stort gap mellan Ryzen 5 7600 och Core i9-13900K när det gäller enkelkärnig prestanda, ser vi att detta gap minskar betydligt i Geekbench. Här lyckas Ryzen 5 7600 ta sig förbi Core i9-12900K, som arbetar med en mycket högre processorbaseffekt (PBP) på 125 W.

Flerkärniga resultat och Blender CPU får stryka på foten på grund av det lägre antalet kärnor och trådar. Trots detta ser vi mycket goda vinster jämfört med Ryzen 5 5600X och endast en marginell brist jämfört med Ryzen 5 7600X beroende på riktmärke.

Ryzen 5 7600 kan slå Ryzen 5 7600 Ryzen 9 5900X i 3DMark 11 Physics, även om 3DMark Time Spy Physics visar sig vara en lite svår uppgift för detta chip.

I AIDA64 kan Ryzen 5 7600 slå sin kusin i X-serien och andra Zen 3- och Alder Lake-chip i flera CPU-benchmarks.

Av någon anledning fungerade CrossMark inte bra på vårt testsystem. Icke desto mindre är övergripande systemprestanda och responsivitet inget problem med Ryzen 5 7600.

Ryzen 5 7600 PC förbrukar minst ström från väggen i jämförelse när man kör Prime95 in-place stora FFT:er och använder bara 134,5 W.

Ryzen 5 7600 är 11 % effektivare än Ryzen 9 7950X3D i The Witcher 3 när den används i kombination med ett RTX 4090, men ligger 21 % efter i Cinebench R15 multi-core power efficiency.

Även om 65 W Ryzen 7000 non-X-processorerna kan verka överflödiga vid en första anblick, erbjuder dessa processorer ett bra alternativ för dem som vill bygga en budgetprocessor utan märkbara prestandaförluster jämfört med Ryzen 7000X-serien.

AMD har lyckats erbjuda betydande prestandaökningar med Ryzen 5 7600, och slår majoriteten av Zen 3 CPU:er och till och med en koloss av typen en Intel Core i9-12900K i single-core - det också till en mycket ekonomisk 65 W TDP som kan gå upp till 90 W under belastning. Detta återspeglas också i processorns utmärkta energieffektivitetssiffror.

Intel Raptor Lake Core i5-13600K har fortfarande övertaget när det gäller den totala processorprestandan, men Ryzen 5 kostar 100 US-dollar mindre enligt nuvarande priser och trampar Core i5-13600K på hälarna i single-core-testerna. Spel, i allmänhet, har varit Zen 4:s starka sida ända från början. Ryzen 5 7600 kan vara bara cirka 9 % långsammare än en Ryzen 9 7950X eller en Core i9-13900K vid lägre inställningar, och detta gap kan potentiellt minska ytterligare vid högre kvalitetsinställningar och upplösningar.

Processorn levereras också med en RDNA 2 iGPU i I/O-matrisen.
