The Transformer T300 Chi is ASUS’s latest offering, which provides the flexibility of a laptop and a tablet. You may not get the comfort of holding an iPad because of the 16:9 aspect ratio but the 12-inch device does open up some new possibilities. In all, if you’re looking for a simple Windows device to make quick work on the go, the ASUS Transformer T300 Chi seems to fit the bill very well.

The T300 Chi is an attractive and power-packed 2-in-1 that doesn't quite manage to bridge the gap between tablets and laptops. I love the gorgeous all-aluminum design and responsive detachable keyboard, but its relatively short battery life and heat management give me pause.

On paper, the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi sounds like a great combination of smart design, new components, and a very reasonable price. In person, it's not as effortless to use as I'd like, and the Intel Core M platform doesn't seem to be optimized for especially long battery life.

For work, though, it falters behind the Yoga Pro 3 with a shorter battery life and a keyboard that's great, but not as good as Lenovo's mastered AccuType keys. Likewise, the Surface Pro 3 offers a 3:2 resolution screen that's much better suited for productivity and color accurate for photography work. If what you seek is a premium machine that'll stream anything from movies to games, the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi has your number.

Asus is that company that delivers a classy looking product for less money, and this time they've outdone themselves with a really sexy looking Ultrabook that's priced several hundred dollars below the competition. That is, as long as you like deep plum laptops. You get an aluminum casing, super slim design, a good keyboard and a good selection of ports for the price.

Intel HD Graphics 5300: En integrerad grafikkrets i Intels mest strömsnåla processorer i Core M-serien (Broadwell), med en TDP på 4,5 watt.

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
