Mini PC Desktop AMD Ryzen (Zen)

Med AM20 utökar Acemagic sin portfölj och släpper ett mycket intressant repräsentativ i kategorin. Det handlar dock inte om en enkel uppgradering av en befintlig modell utan om en helt ny modell. MedAMD Ryzen 7 7735Hhar tillverkaren gått för en nuvarande SoC som har en kraftfull iGPU, denAMD Radeon 680M. Det är allmänt känt att Intel ligger bakom kurvan här och med den ovannämnda iGPU är det till och med möjligt att genomföra några små spelsessioner. Acemagic har utrustat enheten med 32 GB RAM och en 512 GB SSD vilket innebär att datorn är väl specificerad för tillfället. Köpare kommer att behöva lägga undan knappt 570 US-dollar för Acemagic AM20 med 16 GB RAM. Vårt recensionsexemplar är för närvarande inte listat i Acermagics egen butik.

Acemagic AM20 i detalj

Fodral - med trådlös laddningsfunktion

Acemagic AM20 är inte visuellt slående. Enhetens yttre är mörkgrå till utseendet även om locket ser svart ut. Det glänser med en högglansig look som tyvärr gör det benäget att dra till sig fingeravtryck. Innanför höljet finns en laddningsenhet för trådlös laddning. Smartphones kan till exempel laddas under drift med upp till 10 watt. Detta gör Acemagic AM20 till den minsta minidatorn med trådlös laddningsfunktion. När man tittar på utrymmeskraven tillhör Acermagic AM20 återigen de mest kompakta enheterna. Med 10,7 × 10,7 centimeter är dess fotavtryck mycket litet. Höjdmässigt mätte vi också bara 3,8 centimeter.

Acemagic AM20 kan fästas på en bildskärm via ett VESA-fäste. Denna typ av implementering bör dock göra det svårt att använda den integrerade laddningsenheten i höljet.

Funktioner - ett bra urval inklusive Thunderbolt

Acemagic AM20 erbjuder ett bra urval av portar som finns på framsidan och baksidan. Totalt finns det fem USB-portar, varav en också stöder Thunderbolt-funktionalitet. Skärmar kan styras via HDMI eller USB-C, vilket innebär att tre skärmar inte är något problem för Acemagic AM20

Kommunikation

Den installerade Wi-Fi-modulen är från Realtek och fungerar idealiskt i frekvensbandet 5 GHz. Bakåtkompatibilitet med 2,4 GHz-området tillhandahålls dock. När det gäller den monterade Wi-Fi-modulen avslöjade vår granskning motsvarande resultat: När det gäller datamottagning kan Acemagic AM20 fortfarande hittas i mitten av förpackningen, men när det gäller sändning gled vår granskningsenhet ner till sista plats. Dessa resultat ger dock ingen anledning till oro eftersom den prestanda som visas här är tillräcklig för daglig användning. För den här recensionen använde vi vår testrouter, Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000. Båda LAN-uttagen är värda att lyfta fram eftersom de kan användas som ett alternativ till en trådlös anslutning. De erbjuder båda upp till 2,5 GBit/s vilket inte är standard för minidatorer.

Acemagic AM20 kan helt enkelt vändas upp

Ovansidan av Acemagic AM20 kan enkelt öppnas eftersom tillverkaren har försett enheten med en magnetiskt säkrad flik. Därunder döljer sig masslagringen och Wi-Fi-modulen, som båda enkelt kan bytas ut. Du märker omedelbart tre M.2-gränssnitt för SSD-enheter. Det är inte heller standard och med tanke på den kompakta formfaktorn är det en viktig aspekt när man fattar ett köpbeslut. Den som också vill rengöra fläkten kommer att behöva demontera enheten ytterligare och detta är i huvudsak möjligt med en känslig beröring och rätt verktyg.

Demonterad Acemagic AM20

Prestanda - AMD Ryzen 7 7735H har endast Zen 3+-kärnor

MedAMD Ryzen 7 7735Hhar Acemagic AM20 en relativt uppdaterad SoC med 8 kärnor och 16 trådar. Detta säkerställer att du är välutrustad för att hantera de flesta uppgifter. Hittills har andra konfigurationer inte avslöjats. När det gäller RAM-minne finns Acemagic AM20 tillgänglig med antingen 16 eller 32 GB. Det senare är att föredra eftersom uppgradering inte är möjlig.

Testförhållanden

Vi utförde alla prestandatester med energiprofilen "hög prestanda". Vi ändrade inte SoC:ns prestanda och lämnade enheten i fabriksläge i enlighet med BIOS-inställningarna. Olika energisparplaner användes endast för mätningarna av strömförbrukningen och analysen av ljudnivån.

Processor

AMD RyzenAMD Ryzen 7 7735Hkombinerar åtta Zen 3+-kärnor vilket innebär att tillverkaren har beslutat att inte använda AMD:s nuvarande Phoenix-serie. Trots detta, med 8 kärnor och 16 trådar, uppnår SoC anständig flerkärnig prestanda. Detta visar oss dock att Acemagic AM20 bara är strax föreMinisforum UM560 XTjämfört medAMD Ryzen 9 6900HXär AMD Ryzen 7 7735H förlorar ungefär sju procent. I jämförelse medGeekom Mini IT12observerade vi nästan identiska prestandaklassificeringspoäng.

I AIDA64-riktmärkena visar Acemagic AM20 underbart att en kraftfull SoC har installerats. Ändå är Geekom AS 6 och Minisforum UM790 Pro klart bättre.

Fram till nu hade vi inte sett några problem med latens när vi öppnade flera flikar i Edge-webbläsaren. LatencyMon visade oss bara ökad, men inte särskilt märkbar, latens när vi spelade upp vår 4K-testvideo. De bättre enheterna hittills presterar inte bättre på detta område, vilket innebär att Acemagic AM20 säkrade en placering i mitten av tabellen i vår jämförelse.

Masslagring

Vår granskningsenhet innehåller en 512 GB SSD från tillverkaren AirDisk. Ett hittills okänt företag som vi ännu inte har granskat. Den installerade SSD använder dock PCIe-gränssnittet vilket innebär att masslagringen ger adekvat prestanda. Acemagic AM20s poäng matchar dock inte de frånMinisforum NAD9. Trots detta lyckades vårt testexemplar återigen säkra andraplatsen. När det gäller kylning har Acemagic AM20 väl under kontroll, även om masslagringen bara lyckas avleda värme passivt via höljet med hjälp av en termisk kudde. Tester visar att detta fungerar och att diskens prestanda inte sjunker. Det är möjligt att installera totalt tre M.2-masslagringsenheter. Det går dock inte att installera 2,5-tums lagring i Acemagic AM20.

3D-prestanda via en eGPU-docka med en Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Eftersom Acemagic AM20 är utrustad med en Thunderbolt-port tog vi en titt på den tillsammans med vår Razer Core X och enNvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Tii syfte att uppnå en extern prestandaökning för 3D-grafik. I princip finns det en märkbar ökning av 3D-prestandan. Som jämförelse såg vi dockIntel NUC 13 Pro Kit prestera betydligt bättre. Acemagic AM20 befinner sig mer öga mot öga medMorefine M600 6600U.

Från en subjektiv synvinkel kan vi bekräfta att den här kombinationen låter dig spela många fler spel smidigt. Du bör dock också vara medveten om vissa begränsningar. Det installerade grafikkortet kan bara kommunicera med systemet via fyra PCIe 3.0-banor. Detta resulterar i en drastisk minskning av bandbredden. Detta är något som var särskilt tydligt i F1 22- och F1 23-spelen. Vi dokumenterade till och med sämre resultat här än jämfört med iGPU.

Acemagic AM20 chassits temperaturer ger ingen anledning till kritik. Ändå blir locket varmare än de andra delarna av chassit och detta beror förmodligen på SSD: s värmeavledning. Den som utrustar AM20 med tre masslagringsenheter kommer utan tvekan att uppnå ännu högre värden. I stresstestet med Prime95 varAMD Ryzen 7 7735H nådde ett maximum på 87 °C. Det kan fortfarande betraktas som relativt obetydligt även om vi observerade att SoC: s strömförbrukning inte översteg 35 watt. Det finns en tydligt definierad gräns här som också gäller för Cinebench R15 multi-loop. Prestandagränsen kan dock bibehållas och även efter en halvtimme med kontinuerlig belastning körs processorn på 28 watt.

Strömförbrukning

Acemagic AM20 är en extremt ekonomisk modell när du tar hänsyn till dess kraft. DenAMD Ryzen 7 7735H är verkligen kapabel till mer om det bara inte var för kylbegränsningarna. Detta innebär att tillverkaren bara har den hårda prestandagränsen på 35 watt som SoC strikt följer. I grund och botten är allt detta inte ett problem eftersom vårt granskningsprov under full belastning på nästan 65 watt är den mest ekonomiska enheten jämfört med sina kamrater - och med viss marginal. Detta gör att nätaggregatet verkar något överdimensionerat eftersom det kan leverera maximalt 100 watt. Vi får dock inte glömma att en laddningsstation är integrerad i höljet. Denna kan bland annat ladda smartphones med upp till 10 watt. Dessutom kan ytterligare masslagringsenheter installeras som också måste försörjas med ström. Av den anledningen välkomnar vi beslutet att inkludera en 100-watts PSU.

Acemagic AM20 recension: tillhandahålls av Acemagic

Acemagic AM20 har tagit ett bra grepp för att sticka ut från mängden av minidatorer. Acemagic är för närvarande en av få tillverkare som ger möjlighet till trådlös laddning av en smartphone genom att placera den ovanpå enheten. I kombination med sin storlek har AM20 därför till och med en unik försäljningsargument. Som en begränsning måste du dock nöja dig med den låga laddningsprestandan på endast 10 watt.

Byggkvaliteten är felfri, även om användningen av metall till stor del har undvikits. Prestandamässigt får du en solid SoC i form av AMD Ryzen 7 7735H. Även om SoC är en del av 7000-serien, har vi inte att göra med en SoC med Zen 4-beräkningskärnor utan mer en Zen 3-baserad processor. Ändå erbjuder AMD Ryzen 7 7735H solid prestanda. Den stora fördelen med denna AMD SoC kan ses inom området 3D-prestanda. AMD Radeon 680M är helt klart överlägsen Intel, vilket till och med gör små spelsessioner möjliga med Acemagic AM20.

Acemagic AM20 är en både kraftfull och ekonomisk minidator och med sina 8 kärnor och 16 trådar är multi-threading-uppgifter inte heller något problem.

Det är värt att lyfta fram det bra gränssnittsurvalet med två nätverksportar samt Thunderbolt-porten. Detta gör att enheten kan utökas på ett förnuftigt sätt eftersom även externa grafikkort kan användas. När det gäller valet av WiF-modul hade vi föredragit en mer modern sådan. Enhetens ljudnivåer under belastning visar sig vara en nackdel. På grund av sin lilla formfaktor har Acemagic inte mycket utrymme för andra komponenter, så en kompromiss måste göras på detta område.

Der Acemagic AM20 kan beställas direkt via tillverkarens onlinebutik med ett begärt pris på 569 US dollar. Detta erbjudande gäller dock endast USA och Storbritannien. För närvarande har företaget inga planer på att täcka den tysktalande regionen.
