The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is an interesting device for those either looking for a decent budget phone that can do it all or need a reliable second device for work. While not the strongest media consumption device due to its 720p resolution, the A7 Pro 5G’s strengths like its battery life, headphone jack, reverse wired charging, and great software additions, far outweigh the compromises.

Redmi A7 Pro Review – The Ultimate Budget Outdoor Champion
Källa: Tech X Reviews EN→SV
The Redmi A7 Pro offers an exceptional balance of features for its $144 price tag. This smartphone represents a highly practical tool for ride-sharing drivers, delivery workers, and outdoor professionals who require maximum screen legibility and multi-day battery life. The inclusion of UFS 2.2 storage and HyperOS 3 adds long-term value that is difficult to find elsewhere in this price bracket.

Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro Specifications, Pros and Cons
Källa: OI Spice Tech News EN→SV
The Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro is a straightforward, no fuss smartphone that prioritizes two things a huge display and even bigger battery life. Announced and released in April 2026, this phone features a massive 6.9 inch IPS LCD screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling through social media and basic navigation feel surprisingly fluid. However, keep your expectations in check when it comes to sharpness the 720 x 1600 pixel resolution works out to around 254 pixels per inch, so text and images will not look as crisp as on pricier phones. The body is dust and splash-resistant (though not fully waterproof), and at 210 grams, it feels solid but not overly heavy.

REDMI A7 Pro Review: A Sleek Stopgap Solution
Källa: Lowyat.net EN→SV
For all my criticisms, the REDMI A7 Pro is still, at the end of the day, an entry-level phone. Once you take into account its price range of RM399 to RM449, its shortcomings start to make a lot more sense. The most realistic scenario for picking this up is if your previous phone breaks and you need an immediate replacement. Frankly speaking, I see it as a stopgap—something to tide you over until you get a better device. It still has some merit if you only use your phone for basic tasks and don’t need anything too powerful. However, if you’re looking for a long-term solution, I would highly recommend saving up an extra RM500 to go for a decent mid-range device, preferably one with better processing power. After all, you don’t want your phone to give up on you when you need it most.
