Lenovo Yoga 730-13IKB är en intressant uppdatering av föregångaren. På en del sätt når den samma kvalitet som dyrare omvandlingsbara modeller. I andra fall är den dock sämre.

Yoga 730-13IKB:s styrkor inkluderar det lyxiga aluminiumhöljet och den relativt låga vikten. Den är lätt att underhålla: Att uppgradera SSD-enheten är enkelt, vilket inte är vanligt bland dagens konsumentmodeller. 4K-skärmen levererar den utlovade ljusstyrkan, ett bra kontrastförhållande och ett färgomfång på nästan 100% av sRGB. Den har inga problem med skärmflimmer eller blödande bakgrundsbelysning. Datorn har en ganska bra styrplatta utan några större svagheter. Dessutom går den att använda med den tryckkänsliga skärmen eller den aktiva pennan. Det är utmärkt att pennan ingår och inte behöver köpas separat. En förbättring jämfört med föregångaren (Yoga 720-13IKB) är ett bättre kylsystem, vilket möjliggör högre boost-prestanda samt bättre långvarig prestanda.

Anslutbarheten har förbättrats något: Datorn har två Thunderbolt 3-portar istället för en. I övrigt är anslutbarheten fortfarande väldigt begränsad. Till skillnad från styrplattan så är tangentbordets kvalitet inte tilltalande. Det är synd att Lenovo inte erbjuder en mer ljusstark skärm, för den blanka ytan gör det nästan omöjligt att använda den utomhus. 300 cd/ är inte tillräckligt ljusstarkt för detta ändamål. En annan punkt som får kritik är högtalarna, som presterar dåligt. Den största bristen är dock batteritiden, som är mycket sämre än hos konkurrenterna på grund av högre energiförbrukning (orsakad av 4K-skärmen) och ett batteri med lägre kapacitet. Till sist måste vi kritisera att CPU:n stryps vid batteridrift.

I synnerhet de billigare konfigurationerna av Lenovo Yoga 730-13IKB med FullHD-skärm erbjuder ett bra förhållande mellan pris och prestanda, vilket gör dem lätta att rekommendera.

För att summera: vi kan rekommendera Yoga 730-13IKB - men inte konfigurationen med 4K-skärm som vi testat. Istället borde du spara pengarna och välja FullHD-alternativet - det är billigare, har samma ljusstyrka och ger datorn längre batteritid. Det bästa alternativet är troligen HP Spectre x360 13, vars utgångspris är aningen högre än vad Yoga 730-13IKB kostar.
