Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Det är bara processorn som har ändrats på den här versionen av Honor MagicBook 14. Det är bra för alla som vill köpa den, för man får styrkorna från den föregående modellen plus en modernare AMD Ryzen 5 4500U. Den presterar riktigt bra och saktas inte ner av höga temperaturer vid vardagsbruk. Låg vikt och lång batteritid är särskilt intressant för mobila användare.

Honor MagicBook 14 kombinerar lågt pris, lång batteritid och utmärkt systemprestanda.

MagicBook 14 ärver också några negativa aspekter från sin föregångare. Skärmen har fortfarande ett jämförelsevis smalt färgomfång och webbkamerans grodperspektiv är opraktiskt. Dessutom är det bara SSD-enheten och WLAN-modulen som går att byta ut. Se därför till att köpa den med tillräckligt mycket minne, för det går inte att utöka i efterhand.
