Recension av HP Victus 16 - Prisvärd spellaptop med AMD CPU och Nvidia GPU

För snåla. I den mest prisvärda versionen av Victus 16 kombinerar HP en Ryzen 5 5600H med en GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, vilket lovar gott om prestanda för FHD-skärmen med 144 Hz. Om det bara inte vore för den mediokra bildkvaliteten..

Efter att vi redan testat en dyrare version av Victus 16 med enRyzen 7 5800Hoch GeForce RTX 3060för flera månader sedan, sätter vi nu den prisvärda modellen Victus 16-0145ng på prov. Även om HP skär ner på kostnaderna genom att inte inkludera ett Windows-operativsystem (vi installerade Windows 11 Home), är en Ryzen 5 5600Hoch en GeForce RTX 3050 Tiför cirka 920 euro (975 dollar) fortfarande imponerande. På samma sätt ger inkluderandet av 16 GB DDR4-RAM och en 512 GB NVMe SSD till det priset inte heller någon anledning till klagomål. Åtminstone på pappret slår IPS-skärmen också en bra figur, eftersom 144 Hz indikerar en adekvat återgivning av snabba spel.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Ryzen 5 5600H är en hexacore-processor som har en effekt på 45 watt och kan arbeta med upp till 12 trådar samtidigt. Under belastning har 7-nm-modellen en klockfrekvens på 3,3 till 4,2 GHz

I vår Cinebench-slinga utvecklas prestandan mycket jämnt, i likhet med konkurrenterna. Som du kan se i tabellen är Ryzen 5600H betydligt snabbare än Intels Core i5-11300H, som dock bara innehåller 4 kärnor (max. 8 trådar). Tack vare användningen av Ryzen 7 5800H (8C/16T) är de andra konkurrenterna något snabbare.

Med GeForce RTX 3050 Ti erbjuder Nvidia en lyckad GPU i mellanklassen, om man bortser från den mediokra raytracingprestandan. DirectX-12-modellen kan använda 2560 shaders och innehåller 4 GB GDDR6-VRAM. Tyvärr är det sistnämnda inte längre aktuellt i dagsläget. Vi förväntar oss för närvarande minst 6 GB från enheter i mellanklassen. Krävande spel kommer därför att nå sina gränser i högre upplösningar och inställningar.

Generellt sett beror prestandan hos Nvidias Ampere-chip mycket på den konfigurerade TGP. Med 75 watt (inklusive Dynamic Boost) har HD valt ett ganska högt värde för RTX 3050 Ti, vilket också återspeglas i de över genomsnittet liggande resultaten i de syntetiska grafikjämförelserna och testerna med riktiga spel. Victus 16 har dock fortfarande svårt att hävda sig mot konkurrenterna. Både Asus Strix G17 G713QE och Dell G5 5515 kan uppnå en liten fördel i de flesta fall. GeForce RTX 3060 i det dyrare Victus 16 går före med cirka 30 % för det mesta.
