Utöver den sensorn sitter här en 13 MP vidvinkel som också fungerar för makrofotning, och en tredje lins som det inte framgår vad den gör. Jag misstänker att den är stöd för djupseende vid porträttfotning. Överlag är det en bra kamera för priset, men inget som är extra speciellt. Du kan filma i 4k, men då bara 30 fps. I 1080p-läge får du bra bildstabilisering, inklusive Motorolas kompetenta horisontallås när du filmar. Hela bygget är vattentätt med ip68 och ip69-klassning, så den tål att både tappas i plurret och att spolas av. Den ska dessutom tåla ett fall från bordshöjd. Är det inte nog så får du också med ett skyddande skal. Men det vill jag helst inte använda eftersom det kommer i vägen för den fina designen. Det är den snygga stilen, den finfina skärmen, en bättre kamera än väntat och ett enormt batteri som utmärker Edge 70 Fusion. Och den är för övrigt på samma nivå som de flesta mobiler i prisklassen. Det gör den till en av de bästa mobilerna du kan köpa för denna slant.

The display is a stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1 billion colors, a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and an eye-searing peak brightness of 5200 nits great for sunlight visibility. Whether you are scrolling social media or watching HDR10+ videos, it looks fantastic. Depending on where you buy it, the phone runs on either a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (International) or a slightly faster Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 (India) chipset, both built on a power-efficient 4nm process. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage no microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 16 out of the box and promises three major Android upgrades, so it will stay current for years. For photography, you get a solid dual camera setup a 50MP main shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharp, steady shots, plus a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 120 degree field of view. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera.

But standing in its way is the Honor Magic 8 Lite, which achieves slightly longer battery life while also offering twice the storage capacity, improved software support and, at the time of writing, a lower asking price of £350. I was less impressed with the cameras, however, with the ultrawide in particular being one of the weakest I’ve tested. If camera quality is a high priority for you, I’d still stick with the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion.
