Overall, the Honor 600 Pro has a premium design, excellent display, strong performance, great battery life, improved software, and a good main and telephoto camera setup. As a phone, it is genuinely good. But the problem is the price. At Rs. 1,30,000, this phone is around Rs. 40,000 more expensive than last year’s Honor 400 Pro. And honestly, I don’t think that price jump is fully justified. If you are a tech enthusiast, you already know that around this price, you can get a second-hand iPhone 16 Pro Max or Galaxy S25 Ultra, which are overall better products. And if you want a brand-new phone, adding around Rs. 20,000 more can get you something like the Realme GT 8 Pro, which offers stronger overall specs and 512GB storage variant. So, the Honor 600 Pro is a good phone, but not the best value phone. Buy it if you specifically want Honor’s design, software, battery life, and camera processing.

Overall, it remains a compelling value option—especially at its discounted launch price.

At R19 999 (RRP), the HONOR 600 Pro is priced on par with its previous two iterations, so it is nice to see that HONOR has tried to be consistent on that front. Crucially, however, it is close in price to the likes of the Huawei Mate 80 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26, both of which are considered fully fledged flagship devices. As such, the HONOR 600 Pro will be judged in comparison to other flagship devices, and not premium mid-range smartphones. When it comes to the latter, the 600 Pro is definitely worth recommended, but as a flagship phone, that case becomes harder to make. We know that most consumers will not be paying the full R20k to pick up this device, and will go the contract route, which starts at R799 per month, depending on the retailer. From that perspective it may present better value for money, but looking at its RRP, there are some better options out there.

Not to mention almost all the AI features it has that could potentially help make life easier. It could even play heavier titles like NTE, and the cameras are beautiful too. No doubt it is a great all-around phone to use. The only concern I think people would have is the design. But again, style is subjective at the end of the day. Now for the price. The Honor 600 Pro retails at PHP 49,999 for the lone 12+512GB variant, which is a lot of money. It’s already close to flagship-level pricing, but you do get near-flagship-level performance with this phone. Whether it’s worth it or not, we leave that to you.

You can currently get the Xiaomi 17 for less than that, and it's a better phone in almost every way. However, at the discounted launch price of £699, the Honor 600 Pro is a great deal, with better specifications than competitors like the Pixel 10. In that case, it's a much more compelling option.

The Honor 400 Pro was a big fish in a relatively small pond, standing out among its mid-range peers with quality hardware and above-average software support. By kicking the price up so high, Honor has supplanted the 600 Pro into the ocean, where it doesn’t cast nearly as large a shadow. Performance remains solid, thanks to the upgrade to Snapdragon 8 Elite, battery life is fantastic, the display is bright and accurate, and those six years of software support are still highly valuable. A decidedly non-flagship camera suite and the bloated OS hurt the overall appeal, however, with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and OnePlus 15 offering superior photography. Moreover, the Galaxy has an extra year of software support, while the OnePlus has even better battery life and performance, both for less money than this. The Honor 600 Pro is competent enough, but it lacks that little extra something to make it stand out against such strong competition.

This iPhone doppelganger even has a customisable AI button — akin to the iPhone's Action button — that can be used to quickly launch the camera, Google Lens, or one of the Honor's numerous AI-powered features. Even the user interface has a transparency effect — like the Liquid Glass look in iOS — that's most apparent in the Home screen, which by default comes with an iPhone-like wallpaper. You can also switch to transparent icons in the settings. But the Honor 600 Pro is its own creature when it comes to its AI features, especially the unique deepfake detection feature that stands out from the typical AI translation and image editing ones.

This blow is softened somewhat by the fact that Honor is offering a rather attractive pre-order package that includes a S$100 rebate, a free Honor Pad X8b, 365-day front screen crack replacement and a 2-year warranty for people who pre-order between now and 29 April 2026. Honor says this package has a value of S$640.

I’ve been very impressed with the Honor 600 Pro, and at the right price, this is an excellent choice for your next smartphone. However, the key factor is the right price tag, and while we don’t know what the UK or EU pricing is, the Malaysian pricing does give us some indication. The Honor 600 Pro starts at RM3,099 (approximately $785 or £580), with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 512GB version costs $50 more. However, it’s worth noting that the UK and EU pricing is likely to be much higher once import fees, taxes, and customs rates are taken into account. At the right price, this is an excellent purchase, and I’d also expect Honor to have many pre-order deals that either reduce the price or include free accessories.
