We'd be happier if the Dragonfly Folio G3 had an HDMI monitor port and happier still if it had a price cut, but corporate execs whose IT departments don't mind its cost will be lucky to get one. It's a fantastic grab-and-go convertible with an ingenious tilt-screen design, take-it-anywhere connectivity, and a tall screen aspect ratio whose roomy view of webpages and documents has charmed us with other laptops and Chromebooks. HP's Dragonfly Folio G3 earns an Editors' Choice award as a brilliant business 2-in-1.

The HP Dragonfly Folio G3, taken on its own, is a compelling machine. It has a great design and keyboard and touchpad. Plus, it includes a pen. About the only area where I can ding this machine is that for the price, you probably deserve a far more premium display. The IPS touchscreen used here is absolutely fine, but far from amazing. It really isn’t until we throw in some competing machines that it becomes a little less compelling. For its size, HP has stuck to a more normal, cooler U-class Intel chip that’s totally fine but doesn’t blow the doors off. That’s where it’s clear that this is a notebook for normcore business users. There are a ton of other premium machines that can match it on battery life for better power, or beat it on runtime while tackling business tasks (assuming you stick to the Microsoft ecosystem) about as well.

The Dragonfly Folio G3 has a design that makes it perfect for some users, particularly those who like to use a digital pen for handwriting and sketching. It’s also a fine clamshell notebook that can serve as a great media consumption laptop in its own right. It’s also a slightly fussy design though. It’s thicker and heavier than some alternatives, which is offset somewhat by the warm, comfortable covering on the lid. It’s also an extremely expensive laptop, which will automatically put it out of reach for many people. If you like the idea of the pull-forward design, though, the Dragonfly Folio G3 remains one of the most unique laptops you can buy.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
