Its price is very reasonable for its feature set and performance level, putting most of its cost into the brilliant display and potent processor. The Asus delivers a quality build, too, and the touchpad dial is a unique feature that comes close to the usefulness of the physical dial of the ProArt Studiobook. A few creative laptops offer more GPU power or peripheral connectivity, and mobile workstations boast ISV certifications for computer-aided design (CAD) and other specialized apps, but Asus left few real faults here; the Vivobook Pro 16X OLED is a great laptop at a fair price.

EN→SVI think the Vivobook Pro 16 is a great machine for office or college work. The laptop doesn’t break a sweat in any of the moderate-level tasks and offers a good media consumption experience, both visually and auditorily. However, the processing hardware on the device seems a bit dated and the battery life is none too great. Even so, furnishing the Intel i9 H series chipset for under Rs 1 lakh is quite a decent deal. The Vivobook Pro 16 gets my recommendation as a capable workhorse.

EN→SVIn the ever-evolving landscape of laptops designed for specialized tasks, the Asus Vivobook Pro 16 (K6602) emerges as a decent contender for media creators and STEM students. By fusing a discrete GPU (with specific drivers) and potent processing into a slim shell, it fills a gap between powerful work machines and thin-and-light models. While it has enough power for both media creation and even near-workstation performance for machine learning and other tasks, it's far from the best in this niche, and the super short battery life limits it to stationary use. The Asus Vivobook Pro 16 (K6602) has just capable performance, and that's not enough in a prosumer category where excellence is expected. However, its ultimate Achilles' heel, lacking battery life, makes this Vivobook hard to recommend over most other desktop replacement laptops. Instead, you'll get better value from competitors like the HP Envy 16 (2023) and especially the Editors' Choice-award-holding Dell XPS 15.

EN→SVI was left feeling a little bit like I can personally relate to the Asus Vivobook Pro 16 — a bit bland on the outside, but makes up for it with personality, intelligence and being a dirt cheap date. For all intents and purposes, it doesn’t feel special to the touch, nowhere near as premium as its competition, the IPS display is ordinary, and the plastic chassis’ aesthetic doesn’t really stand out with the same exuberance of a Galaxy Book 3 Ultra or MacBook Pro. But with the power unlocked inside this beast, the increased port array, and that far lower price, you’d be mad to not at least consider this when picking your next prosumer laptop.

The Core i7 model is generally on sale for around £2,000, but some retailers have the OLED machine on sale for the same price, which makes it an absolute steal. The new M3 MacBook Pro 16 has a starting price of £2,599, but you only get 18GB of combined RAM and 512GB of storage compared to Asus's 32GB of system RAM, 8GB of vRAM, and a 1TB SSD. If you up the MacBook Pro's spec to that of the Vivobook, you are looking at a final bill of £3,200, a considerable premium for a laptop whose advantages are limited to much superior battery life, faster storage, and a better webcam. Compared to the 2022 Vivobook Pro 16X, Asus has made some worthwhile upgrades beyond the next-gen CPU and GPU such as the addition of a MUX switch, an extra Thunderbolt 4 port, and moving from a MicroSD to an SD card slot.

We’ve seen other laptops that better it on all-around performance, but none that are so unobtrusive in terms of looks or noise. If you’re just after a games machine, look elsewhere. The Acer Predator Helios 16 is cheaper and crams in a faster RTX 4080, while £3000 would also buy you the lower-end version of the Medion Erazer Beast X40, which comes packing the same GPU. If you’re just looking for a capable content creation laptop, you could look at the £1599 HP Envy 16 or the 2023 MacBook Pro 16.

Asus:
De här grafikkorten bör klara av alla nuvarande spel med acceptabel bildfrekvens, men inte nödvändigtvis med höga inställningar. Särskilt krävande spel kanske bara fungerar med låga inställningar. Till skillnad från prestandakorten hittar man däremot de här grafikkorten i bärbara datorer av lite mindre format med bättre batteritid.

De här grafikkorten levererar bäst 3D-prestanda för bärbara datorer. De kan hantera alla nya spel i hög upplösning och ofta med avancerade inställningar.
