ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 OC har ett matt mörkgrått-silvrigt färgtema med dubbla toner som passar bra ihop med Asus toppmoderkort ROG Crosshair och Maximus samt nätaggregatet ROG Thor III.
En tunn RGB-remsa löper längs med hela kortet. Ljuseffekterna kan anpassas via Asus GPU Tweak III-verktyg.
Kortet mäter 76 mm i tjocklek och väger hela 2,86 kg. Det tar gärna upp bredden av fyra PCIe-platser, vilket inte bådar gott för små formfaktorchassin.
ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC använder Nvidias nya 12V-2x6 strömkontakt. Förutom strömkontakten finns det två fläkthuvuden som gör det möjligt att synkronisera fläktarna i chassit med GPU-fläktarna.
