For a not inconsiderable pile of cash, you are getting a superb display, an excellent keyboard and the potential to overclock the hardware to the point where you’ll be able to give a few gaming desktops a run for their money. It’s the irony of cutting-edge engineering that machines built without compromise often demand compromise of their users and the Helios 500 is just one such machine. But if you can put up with the weight, size and double-barrelled power supply, this is a gaming laptop like no other.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU:
Högklassigt grafikkort för bärbara datorer baserat på Ampere GA104-chipet. Vid lanseringen i början av 2021 är 3080 det snabbaste grafikkortet för bärbara datorer på marknaden.
De här grafikkorten bör klara av alla nuvarande spel med acceptabel bildfrekvens, men inte nödvändigtvis med höga inställningar. Särskilt krävande spel kanske bara fungerar med låga inställningar. Till skillnad från prestandakorten hittar man däremot de här grafikkorten i bärbara datorer av lite mindre format med bättre batteritid.

Tiger Lake-baserad (H45-serien) högkvalitativ octa-core SoC för bärbara datorer för spel och arbetsstationer. De åtta processorkärnorna klockar med 2,6-5 GHz. Den integrerade UHD Graphics GPU:n erbjuder 32 EUs. CPU:n tillverkas i 10nm SuperFin-processen (förbättrad 10nm).
