Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite är en nerbantad version av icke-Lite versionen. Det märks på alla områden: Kamera, prestanda, batteritid och skärmens upplösning. Kostnadsbesparingen är ca 600 kronor. Moto G8 går att köpa för samma butikspris. Den har en aning mindre skärm men har i övrigt bara fördelar gentemot Power Lite. Eftersom G8 Power Lite för tillfället är den yngsta medlemmen i G8-serien har priset inte hunnit gå ner än, men det kommer nog ske med tiden.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite riktar sig åt nybörjare och personer som använder sin telefon då och då. Den lämnar ett skapligt intryck i vårt test, men utgångspriset är en aning för högt.   

I så fall kan Moto-telefonen bli en ganska intressant instegstelefon som i huvudsak riktar sig åt den som är intresserad av en stor skärm och bara använder sin telefon då och då. Vi noterade i synnerhet långa standby-tider. Mindre bra var kamerorna som snarare riktar sig åt personer med lägre krav.   

Moto G8 Power Lite gör inga större misstag, det enda vi kan ge den kritik för är att den har en gammal version av Android och saknar stöd för exFAT. I övrigt är detta en gedigen smartphone.
